Here's my problem with the photos - the law enforcement officers cast shadows, the 'stalker' does not.
Actually, Mary, he does. If you look towards the left of his image, on the ground between the trucks, you'll see a blob/darker spot, which appears to be his shadow.
I would love to know where light sources are, and what the weather was like that night - cloudy, moonlit, et cetera. Seems to me that there are a few areas on the photos of the LEOs which may indicate where the stalker would have been hanging out, but I can't tell without knowing what/where light sources were.
Also, I looked on Truilia (sp?) and got some info on the sale of their house. It was at a huge loss, apparently, and sold in July of this year. There is one photo of the front of the house, which is very interesting.
I am curious about how the roof was shaped, and how one could walk on it without making enough noise to be heard by those inside. There are places on my own roof that someone can be walking, and no one would hear them...over the attic, for example. However, there are areas where the footsteps would definitely be heard (e.g. over the laundry/kitchen, and the far side of the living room) where I have heard tree guys' footsteps.
Seems to me that if there was some sort of space between the roof and the ceiling, that the footsteps would not have been heard...depending on how large the space is, and where that space is located and/or insulated.
**New observation (from me). I've been rereading the blog again, and note that at one point, when both parents had left, the front door keypad was pressed. That was the point where the puppy growled.
What is interesting to me is that it seems that both parents' cars were gone, and, while Morgan was still home, it would have been reasonable to assume she'd already gone to class. This would present a good opportunity for the stalker to enter the premise, and poke around some. However, the keypad was never successfully unlocked, and no one entered. Morgan told her Mom when she came home about this attempted entry, and LEO was called...a new "footprint" was found, but not photographed, and no prints were taken from the keypad (which is reasonable; it would have been close to impossible to print the pad, and since no crime had occurred [only an attempt], and this was not felony status yet, there was no detective assigned...).
To me, this brings the possibility of the stalker accessing the house into a far greater reality than it had been before. That had been a point of concern for me - that the property had not been accessed before Morgan's death. But I think the instance above demonstrates that the stalker tried to gain entry, and, most likely gained entry at another point of time, before Morgan's death. In other words, one of the things stalkers do is access the home of the victim(s), and steal stuff/move stuff/go through stuff; often, this leads to an escalation of the fixation, or the harassment, or the stalking...and sometimes, even to the kidnap/murder of the victim.
This is a case where a lot of little things add to big things. It's a matter of looking at it as coincidence v. intentional, and while little things, on their own, don't always add up to much, I'm beginning to see the larger picture. I always think of paintings when I'm seeing circumstantial things...individual brush strokes lead to a picture. Same thing with lots of little things happening...they lead to a big thing. I don't believe that coincidence can be blamed for all of this stuff.
I really would love to read the AR in it's entirety, both from the ME/Coroner who gave and then changed the COD, and from the independent ME/Coroner/pathologist afterwards. I'd be very interested to see both, side by side, and see what evidence they comment on...if any.
