CO - Young girl found alone after Denver fireworks show, 3 July 2015

  • #21
OMG the poor kid! Hope they find her loving family soon! (If the family isn't "loving" then I hope they find a loving home for her elsewhere!) I can't help but notice the poor quality of her teeth - how does a child that young end up with teeth like that?

Antibiotics?

There's no proof that she was actually at the show with her parents. If I where LE I would be printing out flyers and canvas the nearby neighborhood where the fireworks show was at and see if anyone recognizes her. They did this in St. Pete where I live and found the babysitter of a wandering 5 year old who decided to take a nap and he snuck out. Something could have happened to the parents and she went out side wandering because she was scared.

Also, any girls that look like her missing from other states, abducted or carjacking? Could have left her there in a crowd so LE would find her.

I was thinking this also that she was an abducted child and they left her there to be found.

It would explain why they didn't come back for her.
She is a beautiful child!

This is mind blowing. I can't imagine not noticing I was a child short.

Maybe for a split minute in the crowd, but when noticed frantic search would begin. This is scary, dont know if she was kidnapped and left or something horrible happened to the parents, or whatever. Thankful she is safe not the one missing. (as in we are looking for HER)

So far I searched Missingkids the past 2 months and only found 5 under the age of 14 out of 50 pages, the rest mostly runaways. Sad. There where 3 of the 5 under the age of 5. Found this one (she's 4) from Wyoming but I don't think they look alike other then hair.https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/27718/1/

I can't believe that no one has come forward yet!

I just checked the Denver LE twitter and the last update was 5 hours ago, indicating that they were still trying to identify the little girl. Hopefully there is something going on behind the scenes as I type this.

Maybe something happened to her parent(s)? Someone (in comments section) brought up the possibility that maybe her mother was abducted? Even so, you would think that someone else who knows the little girl/her family would come forward. But it is the 4th of July...how many people are watching the news? Maybe her single mother and her are driving through the country on their way to somewhere else, something happens to the mother, and no one in the area knows them?

It's possible she was abandoned, but that doesn't seem like a very well-thought-out plan if the family, especially if the family lives in the area. They have neighbors, family members, friends, classmates, etc who would recognize their daughter.

Here are the possibilities I thought of:

-Deliberately abandoned by parent(s)
-Parent(s) committed suicide and wanted daughter to be found
-Parent was abducted
-Lack of communication between two parties...one think she is with them, the other think she is with them
-Child is an abducted child (She does look a little like Lisa Irwin...)
-Parents on drugs...left the fireworks w/o their kid...still on drugs...or scared to come forward

-parent(s) had medical emergency

There are some things floating around the comments on Denver PD FB page. Since it is considered rumor, we can consider it as a possibility, rather than any lead, for sure.
- was with grandparents at the event- also maybe 2 other little boys. COuld it be they forgot her and are too nervous to tell the parents? (hard to buy that, though).

Also, people have posted comparisons of Baby Lisa Irwin and Ayla Reynolds. Those are possibilities as missing and re-surfaced.

First thing I thought of was maybe this child was kidnapped as an infant and therefore the "parents" cannot rightfully claim her. Baby Lisa Irwin missing from crib in 2011.

Someone on the comments on fb says they were sitting right next to her and her family. A woman and a man (man was a vendor selling trinkets) and two little boys. She has a video on her phone and she has shared it with police.

Are her parents wanted by LE? Did something foul happen to them? Why isn't extended family coming forward? I'm leaning towards abducted child at this point.

How do her ears match up with Lisa's?

They need to get her pic out on national tv. At least she is somewhere safe.

A lot of people are commenting about her teeth. If she was abducted, it's not like the abductor is going to be able to take her to the dentist.

Surely they will run her dna through a data base and see if it matches any missing children.

Why isn't Lisa Irwin listed in missingkids.com database? I searched for girls who are now between ages 2-6, and she doesn't show up??

I'll be shocked if this story isn't national news by Monday. She's a very sympathetic victim, it's a case where the public's input is needed, and it's one where people are going to have a lot of opinions, theories, and emotions regarding it.
