Iirc his bracelet may have a wide range, given that he can leave the county for lawyer and medical appts. Not sure how that works, if they call ahead, if he would be followed or not etc.

It is almost 4 miles if you go by the google directions, which takes the road, and that is a long ways around. If you look at the map it would be much, much closer and a straight line to cut through. ETA, it would be less than 1.5 miles going this way. Also, DS was able to go to Haleighbug w/o any repercussions so I guess he has a pretty wide range that he can travel. And 1 more thought, as the article by Martha Stewart stated, the ankle monitors can be removed.

I map quested DS address to Haleighbug and I don't know why but I got two sets of directions, I guess because Highway 17 has north and south addresses and I am not sure if Haleigh bug was on the north or south side of HWY 17. The official mailing address listed was Kim Picazio's office in Fort Lauderdale Florida so I couldn't use that. Anyway, it was just over 1 mile or just under 5 miles depending on if it was located on the north or south side.

Regardless, it appears DS was free to travel around at leisure depending upon where he called in to say he was headed. Pitiful. I also take into consideration that he had a roommate and if he truly wanted something he could have help. JMO

Misty's last name is Sanders-not your fault-TJ spelled it wrong in his article. eta-after reading ahead I see you figured this out, also! Just helps if you have the right spelling if you are trying to research people!

Yes, he was with Sheryln after his divorce from Joan-the lady w/the monkey.
public court documents show that Joan had a restraining order against DS.
It was for a year and after that she applied for a permanent one. Joan also has several charges for selling animals w/out the proper permit to do so. They were married for 3 yrs. 1996 to 1999. He was also charged w/theft from her home.
Look at the court docs-interesting.

Sherlyn is the mother of Misty S.
Sherlyn is in the video I posted. It is from 2007 after his arrest. She states what a great guy he is. :sick:
Also looking at public property records Sherlyn's children have power of attorney over her and her assets. I am wondering what her current state of health is.

In Misty Sanders's interview with Cobra, she said her mother Sherlyn is an alcoholic, autistic and has been suffering from seizures for the past 5 years. Sherlyn has been dating DS for 9 years and DS told Sherlyn's neighbor he was planning to move in with her around the time HaLeigh disappeared. I gathered from Misty's conversation with Cobra in March that her mother had not returned home so I don't know where she is and how she feels about the allegations she made about what she witnessed at her home after she awoke from the coma. Sherlyn was hospitalized February 21, 09. I suppose since she wasn't administered the appropriate drug test, she can't charge DS for attempted murder? If he did put something in her system that caused her seizures, would that not be attempted murder?

I listened to an interview Simon Barrett had with Cobra October 15/09 which Kool Look snipped a segment from and I posted the link below. The 1st half of the tape which is a little over 1 hour in duration can be best described as a "bail bondsman 101" course. When you open your default media player, you can advance the recording to the 36:30 minute mark to hear what Cobra knows about DS's GPS bracelet, what occurred at the HaLeighBug Foundation and at DS’s home the day Cobra attempted to arrest him for violating his court orders. At 57:30 mark, Cobra reveals what DS said to him about his involvement in the HaLeigh Cummings case.
DS sold both his car and boat after HaLeigh disappeared so it is possible he used his boat to remove HaLeigh.

I personally haven't contacted the show but I know others have so I'm going to wait to hear from them. TMK no one has come forward saying they recall seeing DS featured on 20/20 and Misty S didn't indicate when 20/20 featured DS on their show.

I would REALLY like to know if those photos of DS and MC together exist. This guy is a class A creep.
Misty S. stated that he was/is running an escort service.
What if he is involved, LE knows it but don't have enough proof for the charges to stick, let alone get a conviction? If LE did search and investigate him good, found something to link him to the Haleigh crime do you really think they are going to tell the public that or just deny he is involved at all so he is not tipped off? I tend to think the latter. LE never shows their hand before the cards fall. Or what if LE has the proof to make charges and a conviction stick but they are messed up in the dirty deeds right along w/DS and don't want to be outed if they arrest them. I don't want to think about police corruption but it does happen. Have any of you ever researched the West Memphis 3 case or the doings in Ada, OK? Corruption at its finest in those cases.

I would too! If it could be determined if DS and Misty Croslin really did know each other, would it be a stretch to think that DS and Tommy C could also have known each other? If so, this opens up new possibilities in the Haleigh case, IMO. I sure hope that LE has done, or is doing, their due dilligence.

I'm curious to know what's going on with Sherylyn Sanders these days and if she returned home. SS was admitted to hospital Feb 20/09 and in the interview recorded on March 31/09 her daughter Misty said she wasn't at home which was 1 month after her admission to hospital.
I wonder if talk show hosts will request an interview with her?
It's been approx. 8 months since her hospital admission so I wonder what she is doing with what she said happened in her home and on her property? Apparently DS is now her ex-boyfriend so I wonder if she was granted a RO against him to keep him away from her and off her property?

Which is also where Cobra was when he went to arrest DS so DS has not moved since Dec 07 and the property we see in the video with Cobra belongs to Daniel not Sherlyn Sanders.
According to the media reporter, Snodgrass had the girls dress in costumes and pose while he snapped pictures. When Misty Sanders identified her mother in pictures taken from DS's home, she said there were hundreds of pictures and some were risque so I think it is highly possible Misty Sanders was telling the truth.

I have no idea, that might be a better question to be posted on a different thread. I am sure maybe Bern or chesterp might know whether one side of 17 was better than the other, hopefully they will check in on the thread soon and be able to provide some insight. for you. : )

If DS is running an escort service, it would be relatively easy for LE to find out. The reporter who covered DS's arrest in Dec 2007 said DS had the girls dress in skimpy costumes and pose while he snapped pictures of them. MS said he snapped pictures of her 11 year-old-niece when she was cleaning his house unsupervised so when Misty Sanders told Cobra she saw hundreds of risque photos which included Misty Croslin, it doesn't surprise me.

I didn't find anything in court records where SS had a RO against DS.
His ex-wife has a permanent RO against him.

Can you provide us with links to the court docs you found please?
Is it a fact DS has no biological children?
Why hasn't LE questioned DS and Marty Reid to find out what they know about HaLeigh's disappearance? Can Ron's P.I. make this happen?
Why hasn't Misty Croslin or anyone of HaLeigh's family members requested DS and Marty Reid be questioned by LE with regards to HC's disappearance?
The K-9 dog tracked HaLeigh's scent to the water and they know Daniel Snodgrass owned a boat which he disposed of immediately after HC went missing and sexually assaulted female children on his property.
The detective at PCSO called DS a piece of trash when DS was thrown in jail for sexually assaulting a child and he said DS is in jail where he needs to be. There are red flags galore here. Surely LE suspects DS had something to do with HC's disappearance. Psychics and astrologers highly suspect DS and Marty Reid and have contact LE. Even though Misty Sanders didn't want to go to LE and tell them what she knows, she has to in order to move this case forward IMO.

Thanks alot elle. It doesn't sound like LE or anyone connected to HaLeigh's case "thought outside the box" to rule out the possibility the perp used a boat. LE should have checked for fresh boat tracks in the area the dogs alerted to along the water's edge as well as adult footprints left near the shore and in the water. Perhaps one person sat in the boat off shore while someone else went into the house to steal HaLeigh and he left footprints in the water.
I wish LE would locate and examine the boat and vehicle DS sold after HaLeigh disappeared to see if she was in these vehicles.
