The gas cans have always bothered me.

Did Amy ever ask her WHY she needed help?? I mean, I would find it very odd if a friend of mine called and asked me to take them to Target and buy them a gas can. KC was in TonE's jeep, she supposedly had a great job.....why did she need Amy's help?

I think KC definitely put Caylee in one of those duffel bags and she bought it at JCP. Very obvious that they didn't want to share the receipt.

I think she might be in a watery grave but I'm very worried that an alligator may have dealt with that bag by now. Poor Caylee.

Makes me so sad.

WHAT WE NEED IS FOR A BIG OL' DUFFEL THAT WAS PURCHASED AT JCP TO WASH UP ON SOME SHORE. That will be the break in the case. Caylee may not be in it anymore, but there will be evidence of it.

How do you burn something that's wet? A dead body is 'wet'. It would take days. And the smell, etc.
No way.

I agree. The human body is 90-something-percent water, after all.

Also, she'd have to have something else to burn as fuel, such as a bunch of wood. Because even dousing the body with gasoline would not burn it up very quickly -- skin surfaces would char and blister, but the gasoline will "burn off" and without some other type of fuel that burns easily to keep fire going, the fire would go out fairly soon.

AND, burning with gasoline is dangerous. When you light it, it goes up at first with a "whump!" like an explosion, and if she had poured very MUCH gasoline, it would have gone up with a BIG "WHUMP!" -- she could have caught on fire herself from that, singed eyebrows and/or hair, and received a flash-burn on her face (looks like sunburn).

I'm more of the opinion that she was just stealing gasoline because she couldn't afford to keep her car filled up. Remember, gasoline prices were very high this summer.

I think if she burned the body, she would have smelled of smoke and Jesse would have noticed that when she showed up for shower.

What bothers me about the burn theory is her car - must be close - gas cans the size of what was taken from the Anthony house are heavy - as is a body for a long walk - even a child. She's lazy and likes her nails/claws done so doesn't like messes I'm sure. Needs to pull up, open trunk, few steps, body, fire, cans back in car - don't get stuck or blow up car, etc. stay to be sure burned good enough? worried someone will come to put out the fire? come back later? Bones don't burn - even at crematorium. Must be pulverized. Can't leave bones - too yucky to touch, scoop and move far enough away, might burn hair when lighting - gas goes POOF, too hot...

I maintain that she used empty plastic gas cans which are very light and moved them to a sandy area filled them with sand and used as weights. I don't think she would risk starting a fire.

Went to the map above and hit Birds Eye and zoomed in but had to slide forever up to get church in view. From this view you can see the land very well and it is just clearings not burned. Also looked at other wooded area around church and several are the same. Wish it would have been and Caylee was there. Still think the area needs to be searched regardless of clearing reason. Think Cocoamom is on to something.

kc had stolen gas many times but she never took the cans, that is what was different I was so hung up on the gas that I didnt realize it was the cans that were the clue. ga called le because this time not only was gas stolen, but the cans also. I truly believe that she (kc)just couldnt look at her that is why the trunk with cloth scenario works. (kc) I didnt do anything just a little time out in the trunk, be back in a few minutes. Then with the burn, put in rolling duffel, douse with accelerant (gas) (kc) I'm didnt do anything just burning this bag. very cowardly Secret special place would have to be close, maybe we need to look at 6 months of pings to look for a trend. ....

at this point I think KC is capeable of doing anything.......
the church area needs to be searched....when approved to do so.... the burning idea needs to be thought out as well....the gas cans always buged me as well....she never took the cans before.....why did she take them that time.... I would really like to see the pic the other poster said of a fire and talking about gas burning hoter....if anyone has that please post it thanks ....she could have burnd the body and then place the bones in a bag and thru them into water.....its just so gross to think about what a sick monster would do to her own baby.....:furious:

In regard to the gas cans being taken this time, but never before, I've got this to say about that.

If memory serves, in ToneL's second statement to LE, he said he drove Casey to the A's home and waited in the car for her. When she emerges, she's got the gas cans with her. She didn't drain them into her tank because her car wasn't even there.

Thats why she burned her twice the 18th and the 30th, thats why there are two sets of gas cans. my firm belief

IMO she had a 'plan' and studied all kinds of stuff for months. CAYLEE was starting to tell, she could talk and was a threat to KC........IMO

This is one chick thats gotta lotta experience with gas, no pun intended, thats why shes not far. within a couple of hundred feet of where she did it on the 15th, and where the car was parked in her secret special place. Shes been at bbq's shes seen drunk as she would say "boys" do dumb things when starting the grill after a couple of beers. She had her nails done after the 15th and the 18th, I think she was saying ok to get the nails done now.

IMO she had a 'plan' and studied all kinds of stuff for months. CAYLEE was starting to tell, she could talk and was a threat to KC........IMO

I also think Caylee was becoming a BIG liability to Casey now that she was able to answer questions.

And it's NOT just the grandparents that Casey wants to keep in the dark..... it's all her friends also because I doubt even a casual friend could really be comfortable with the idea of a young toddler being exposed to the kind of lifestyle Casey wanted to live.

Casey can't stand to be judged by her parents AND her peers as well.... so she ditched the kid.

How do you know about her nails getting done on those dates?

That's pretty interesting.

Maybe she broke an acrylic disposing of the body and had to go back on the 18th.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF SHE HAS ACRYLIC OR JUST GETS HER REAL NAILS DONE??

If they are acrylic, she wouldn't go back that soon to get them done unless she broke one. Polish stays on them for a very long time. Manicures on your regular nails, however, go to heck really fast when you get them wet and do "dirty work".....if you know what I mean!

I'd love to hear more information on the nails. I've never seen a close up of them (just her horrid blue toenail polish on news clips of her at her first hearing! BLECK)

If I remember correctly, I think that its in Amy's testimony that she (KC) had her nails done on July 1rst.
