Coincidences

I would like to see the proof that the Detectives LIED to Patsy in order to get a confession. Can't produce it, because you don't have it.

Likewise, it can't be proven to be the truth, since they refused to provide evidence. Kinda suss, doncha think?

I thought I might move this from the sticky to this thread.

DeeDee249:It isn't really clear from exactly what document the Chris Wolf writing is taken, only that it is his handwriting allegedly superimposed over the RN, to the point where the match is SO close that it looks like a duplicate of the note itself. I'd like to see where the Wolf samples came from.
That being said, I'd LOVE to see them take a closer look at Wolf. Taking a look at some of his friends at the time is also a good idea as they could be the source for the DNA.

This is very interesting as you say DD. The copy looks like a diary but I'll go back and have another look and see if I can get a few screen captures.

This brings us back to the possible connection between some of the people around the Rs. I'm going to do some research on this link and see if I can come up with anything. We already have CW linked to McSanta and denying he knew him, which is suspicious in itself. Does anyone have knowledge of network science? I'm sure it has a place in crime investigation and involves a little bit more than just 'known associates'. Once we find the 'hub' it should give us clues to the network, even if he/she is totally innocent.

Chances are a bit higher that they were not lying though....they would have had to PROVE whatever they said, and brought forth the evidence that they had... in a court of law you know.

It's like saying we have a witness who saw you coming out of the house. If the perp then confesses, he can't take it back when he finds out there was no witness. Not fair, you tricked me!! So I'm pretty sure they can say just about anything they like. When they get two people who they are sure were involved, they interview them separately and tell each of them that the other one has implicated them. I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Chris Wolf's writing samples were taken from his journals by his girlfriend. This isn't the first time this same gf has thrown CW under the bus.

yes, MF a coincidence.

yes, joeskidbeck. For sure, she has remained consistent with her claims, but it's been a while, years since there's been word of her. I wonder how much a full page add in the DC costs.

Well, you RDI reckon that JR has lost interest in finding her killer, so you wouldn't suggest it was him then would you?

Well, we RDI don't feel he's lost interest in finding the killer because we feel he has about as much interest in finding the "real" killer as OJ Simpson does. And because, like OJ, he knows who the killer is. But he would have a GREAT interest in seeing someone ELSE named as the killer. And for that to happen, someone ELSE has to be investigated.

Heyya DeeDee.

and who is the 'handwriting expert' ("Brungardt says she hired an independent handwriting expert who concludes that Wolf wrote the ransom note|).

and how much did that consultation cost and ...

what does CW make of this?

You guys, completely without evidence, but based on an assumption that when a child is killed and found in her own home, that overwhelmingly the parents are found to be the killers, would have 'thrown the Rs into jail until one of them confessed'.

However, when a known pedophile confesses to her murder (following a long dialogue with someone on the subject), you would have just left him in a foreign country (where he could have disappeared), tested him for DNA and then dismissed him as a kook? You think this is reasonable? Seriously???????

1) "Completely without evidence" my Irish patoot.

2) Police do and have done precisely that and it works.

3) For the 100th time, no one is talking about just leaving him be. There were several alternatives, and NONE of them were used.

I don't think brown cotton fibers could turn into red acrylic fibers regardless of how long ago it was or how much you may wish it.

I didn't say that.

The evidence gathered at the crime scene? You regard this as outdated? Who would have challenged it? It would have been in a lab report or it wouldn't have been able to be presented in court as evidence? Unless you have a very different system to us.

My point is that it was stated and not challenged when it could have been. LS's word was taken for it.

Aside from the fibers, which is what we are questioning, and the hadwriting on the RN which is also under question, what other 'evidence' do you have (and don't say they look guilty LOL)

Here's a question I want to pose to anyone who has an open mind:

What if two crime were committed that night?

The kidnapping of John's daughter.

The murder of John and Patsy's daughter.

How much of a coincidence would that be?

How much of a coincidence would that be?

do you mean one person entered the house to kidnap her and another person entered to kill her.
or do you mean 2 people went in together and one decided to kill her when the plan was to kidnap?

...that's something I thought of as well when I read the "ruthless people" comment on the other thread....
....what if the kidnapper had the note all ready to go and then witnessed the murder of JB?.(and the killer could be either IDI or RDI)...they would each have to cover for each other ,whether they liked it or not...
...now that would indeed be a HUGE coincident .....
