wouldn't that be fantastic if they were sheltered by a local tribe but then will they be found?

Is there proof that these children were on the flight?
yes

Just want to point out that any message sent in Huitoto or Spanish would be indiscernable for any unconnected tribe.

(..)

But despite more than 100 soldiers combing the jungle, no further traces were found until the early hours of Wednesday.
The latest items were spotted by an indigenous woman some 500m (1,640ft) from the crash site.

She found a dirty nappy, a green towel and shoes, which judging by their size are thought to belong to the second youngest of the missing siblings, who is four years old. The nappy is believed to have been worn by the 11-month-old baby.

At a separate location, the search team found another nappy, a mobile phone case and a pink cap which matches the drinking bottle found last week.

Search has not been abandoned.

Lot of things still happening. Like the army has plotted out the possible área with flagging tape putting whistles along the tape.

We are following an Andoque tracker who has satellite/GPS equipment sent recently which enables us to plot . From what we are seeing, the children would still be in a 2km radius. They changed direction, from heading eastwards, we think they are now headed north to the Apaporis River.

Most popular theory remains to be that kids are being sheltered by an unkown tribe.

And realistically that is the only hope.

"Encontramos a todos con vida", ese fue el reporte que le entregaron los militares en el área al Gobierno Nacional.

"They were found alive, according to military officers

.

Sources report that the children were found by soldiers and indigenous persons helping with the search.

Right now a helicopter is heading for the location, which has not been disclosed, in order to to transport them to to San Jose de Guaviare where they will be attended to by military doctors.

The children are rather dehydrated and suffering from insect bites.

This is astonishing! What a story of survival.

“The miracle that makes Colombia happy!: Lesly, Soleini, Tien and Cristin, the four brothers lost 40 days ago in the Guaviare jungle on the border with Caquetá, were found by the military and indigenous forces searching for them.”
