[...] A lot of half- baked info out there. Imo, always go directly to the source.

That's good advice on every level. I hope, but am not confident that people recognize and choose reliable sources rather than half-baked info.

I saw this on social media. So irresponsible. You could not pay me to be in a crowd like that right now.
What are the parent thinking who are taking their families to Disney World right now?

What an unnecessary risk.

So I guess that $1.5 trillion dollars that was boasted about means nothing, we need the government to be concerned about every US citizen, not concerned about the stock market.
Jersey, they hoped to rescue it, but knew it was unlikely. The only hope we have is for Americans to isolate and break the transmission now. If they don't, it will likely be a full collapse of more than the hospital system.

releasing inmates really ensures community safety, huh? Omg
I know this will keep happening to protect staff, the risk of inmates infecting guards is huge.
Bigger question, with courts closed, will these people ever be found when judgement day comes? I doubt it. All moo
guessing most of these inmates are unemployed.....

Isn't there a greater risk of staff infecting the inmates?

My prediction is that the US is going to go on Level 1 Quarantine in the near future.

I’m hoping I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and my prediction is way off, but that’s how I’m feeling today. :(

That is terrifying.
The people that know how to use them have had a stash for years....Obama was a significant help to the firearms industry....lol

My friend is due in early April and it's increasingly looking like she may have to go it alone. The hospitals have seriously restricted visitation and they're considering banning visitors altogether. She's mentally preparing to give birth without her husband or any family by her side.

Please keep others in mind when you shop. She has gestational diabetes and is having a difficult time finding enough appropriate food at the store. Shelves in her area are absolutely wiped out.

I'm absolutely sick worried about her. I feel totally helpess and don't even really know how to comfort her.

It's way too late for the economy and stock market. Too late to stop collapse.
IMOO- that's In my OLD Opinion-
We need to have Martial Law to stop the deniars, It works here in Fl. hurricanes.
You better not be caught out and about without a legitimate purpose. The roads become totally
desolate. Only cops out roaming. It works.

Looks like Dr. Mike won't be at the presser today. Dr. Maria and Dr. Tedros will be there.

They had one person up in his place for Mike (Dr. Sochi, Assistant Director General Emergency Response) but just removed his nameplate and now Dr. Paul Molinaro in his place who is the Chief, Operations and Logistics.

It feels much more real now that other countries are closing down. I had some errands to run today. And I will say Italians in my city are doing a great job at keeping one meter away from each other. I had to wait in line for almost 30 minutes to get into the grocery store. They limit the amount inside to maybe 4. We were all spaced out the 3-5 feet. But I will tell you. One does not want to forget anything they might need. When I came out the line had tripled in size.

Nothing new. We are just inside making the most of it. My kids just started the 4 th week of online school. It's tough seeing friends in the states starting to go through what we have done already. But things will work out.

Keep going Henry. You may be saving lives. You have no idea how many of your well-researched msgs are re-posted elsewhere, or how many people you have convinced to take active measures to protect themselves and those around them. I applaud your efforts.

I totally agree! IMO, there are several “heroes” on this forum. The information obtained from this site has allowed many of us here to get a head start with preparations, and has provided an abundance of factual data that has been shared with family and friends. What has been done on this website may only be a small drop in the bucket, but I feel that some lives will be spared as a direct result of the data that has been gathered here on WS.

MY THANKS TO ALL!!
