Ah, the youth. They are the most resilient. Those young people, the majority, are absolutely the FINEST anyone could ask for. They are intelligent, aware, capable, adaptable, and savvy in so many ways.
NEVER discount their abilities.
This global crisis will likely create the next 'greatest' generation.
I will not personally allow the few who are a bit wayward discolor the majority of our young generation.
Any that need support are free to PM me on here, I worked in U.S. public high school for 20 years, and in a residential treatment facility prior to that. I believe in our youth, 100%.
MOO, a person can be part of the problem in this crisis, or part of the solution. Which will YOU choose?
Indeed. The group called: The Olds. I am one of them. As a kid, I criticized or made jest of old folks. My Dad often said: "You will be old one day too, girl". Carp those words always stuck with me. He was right and dang, here I am.Oh, so now I'm part of the group called "The Olds"! I resent that.
Yeah, I've been around the block. Me! It's those youngsters going to the beach not taking it serious.
The frustration millennials have with older people not taking coronavirus precautions seriously
"They're older and they've been through a few things before," Dr. Gregory Jantz, a Seattle-based psychologist and mental health expert …"
Two people from the concert tested positive. They could've infected some other college students we kicked out of their dorms yesterday and sent home to various areas. Hard to get the word out now.
Crssd Festival: 2 people test positive for coronavirus
"SAN DIEGO — On March 7 and 8, the Crssd Music Festival welcomed thousands for an electronic music concert at Waterfront Park, despite worldwide concerns over COVID-19. On Thursday, March 19, organizers confirmed that two people that attended the festival have tested positive for coronavirus."
BBM, with gratitude.
"As the coronavirus pandemic increasingly confines New Yorkers indoors, the city’s young Samaritans are helping the elderly and infirm cope by delivering supplies directly to their doorsteps."

Look on your county website for a spraying or dusting schedule. It could be for mosquitoes, or some other necessary spray, to reduce transmission of disease. Think Zika Virus. If you can’t find anything, look up crop dusting permits, if they’re online. I would call your county to inquire. Keep the windows closed and air circulation off for an hour. JMO
:wave:How’s it going up there? Are you sheltered in place? It seems like so long ago we were worried about our yoga classes...![]()
.
They are very sweet, but very uneducated and naive. I do not believe our youth are prepared for actual responsibility. They are very cute though.
One is my daughter’s friend. She has been sick with a fever and dry cough for 9 days but no one would listen to her or test her until she went in to the hospital in respiratory distress. She is only 27 years old and was in excellent health. Has pneumonia now.![]()
would you like to see this in your area?maybe we'll still wise up and let people out of their houses in rotation.
I have been hunting toilet paper for over a week and there is none to be found in my area. NONE. I'm down to three rolls and have absolutely no clue on what I'm going to do after those rolls are gone. I don't understand why there is no toilet paper being shipped and stocked in the stores. Puzzling.Well this is one writers opinion , and what he thinks is the reason people are hoarding tp - apparently we're biologically programmed to hoard - like birds and squirrels.
There's plenty of toilet paper in the US – so why are people hoarding it?
I wish that people I know shared your enthusiasm. Oh my.
I've worked in a public university for 40 years. And in some high schools. And in some private schools. First started teaching 45 years ago.

Where can I find this information? The young man who died today in Los Angeles, California had returned home from Florida after visiting Disney World, before developing symptoms.
We are a bit in our groove now. Work is still going so we go in daily, then straight home. We bring our lunches with us. Other than the 3 other guys at work we have no other social interaction and they are all locked down except the lab as well. Going to bring my puppy to doggy day care but she’s serious about protecting her people and the public from the virus. One outside person at a time in the building, hand sanitizer between customers, so one more person on daily interaction.
Using the outside pay at pump with the one glove to protect ourselves there. Theoretically should only interact with 5 people on a daily basis if my boss shows up. I’m torn on the feed store for the weekend. It’s never busy, 8 people total I’ve seen in the store at any one time. I’d love to keep my feed/hay replenished as long as I can but I don’t want to risk exposure.
"A 34-year-old man who tested positive for the coronavirus infection after visiting Disney World and traveling through Los Angeles International Airport earlier this month died Thursday at a hospital in Pasadena, according to medical and government sources."Where can I find this information?
