Federal Government announcement today-

Counterfeit Currency-Coronavirus/US Secret Service

The US Secret Service sent notification that due to the Coronavirus pandemic impacting their ability to address large volumes of incoming counterfeit, all US Dollars users are being asked to refrain from submitting
counterfeit currency at this time.
They are asking us to collect the currency and submit it as a single large batch when the federal government returns to normal operations.
There is an alert on the US Dollars website, once it is removed it will signify the return to normal operations.

This never once crossed my mind.

South Korea would have tested them all and then done a mandatory quarantine of the positives, with a careful monitoring of their fellow passenger contacts.

That's how South Korea stopped this plague.

South Carolina is just mucking about in the filthy swamp and it is their healthcare providers and their at-risk citizens who will suffer.

If Japan goes along with the Summer Olympics as they state, I predict we will have a "second wind" pandemic of horrible proportions in about late August.

As it is now, we may get over this horrible first phase by mid-summer and have some time to re-group for a resurgence during the winter months, starting in about November.

A second wave in August because of the travel and mixing of populations would exceed our capacity to rest our dangerously overworked caregivers and restock PPE.

Not only that, but the world economy will just not be up to using disposable income for travel and accommodations.

I can't understand why Prime Minister Abe is being so unreasonable

After discussion with DH and suggestions from several members, I canceled my regularly scheduled cleaning service for this Wednesday. The company has a COVID-19 statement on their website that does not mention that the ladies will wear masks; they always wear gloves. Even if the team is healthy, there is no way that DH and I would know if they've been exposed within their own families or in the many homes they clean each day.
