This week, our weather forcast is for 80f degrees for at least the next 5 days, here in So. California.
I have been isolating since Feb. 26. Not 100% but 80% in the earlier days.
We have a sailboat in San Diego, that previously, I lived on about 2 weeks or more per month.
She's not large, she's about 30 feet and 42 years old.
Tight quarters for more then one person to live on.
I've always been okay with my tiny floating house accommodations, because right off my bow, are seals, fish, birds and the nicest, most interesting people you could ever meet.
From all walks of life.
I am going to go to my boat on Tuesday.
I am not a partier, my boat gives me solace, and I rarely venture off of her, except to maybe walk the docks and watch the ships come in.
I will have, my groceries, masks and gloves.
My DH has everything he and our doggies need. I will not endanger anyone.
I will continue to be a model citizen who's restaurant businesses of 40 years is at high risk of closing here in So. California, but, I will hear the latest news with water lapping on my boat and lulling me to sleep.
Signed. A responsible, concerned 66 year old with an old beloved boat.

UGH--I have to venture out tomorrow- I went out last week to get TP and a few essentials. I was the only one except for the cashier, wearing a mask and gloves. The checkout line was very long and wrapped around an aisle and there was no 6 ft apart and NOBODY in that line was wearing a mask or gloves. I checked for TP and they were out so I just left and came home. I didn't even check for other things.
Tomorrow--I need to meet with a friend, who has made cloth face masks as we are now out, social distancing as I told her to just throw them in my back seat on the passenger side LOL--
then I have to go find TP and a few canned goods and yes, some hair color, apparently now sold out,
then come home and have a zoom video family game day-- we play Cards against Humanity online with zoom LOL

Where are you (just generally)? I wouldn't like that scenario. Cards against Humanity sounds awesome.

I know people who've used that mail order Italian hair color with good results. I haven't been in a store since March 12.

He is not in good shape at all. If I'm reading this right CPR has been performed. He is sedated on a vent, dialysis, and ECMO. Intestinal bleeding and now an amputation. That's rough. :(
I know. Such a cruel, cruel virus

And he is only 41. This is such a weird virus. Some people have barely any symptoms and some people have such severe disease.

It’s not often you get 8 hours of terrific music. Wow! But I’d give that up for there to be no coronavirus.

I know. And there is the woman 102 years old who beats covid. They really need to take a good look at her.

I hope you enjoy some peace there. I am thinking of you and your restaurant, and your local fellow restaurateurs, and every other person who welcomes strangers and feeds them with pride in my own town, too. Take care.

I was thinking about visits. I was thinking about trade. Whether we states close our borders isn't Canada's issue - but if Canada wants trading partners, it could perhaps work with individual states by agreement. All of the Western states have their own international trade commissions and lots of things that other nations like to buy.

Like potatoes.

Yes, that would be consisent with some practices that were ongoing even before Covid,
For example, a few years ago, horses could be imported into Canada from some states and not from others.

The same woman who also beat the 1918 flu right?
