Same to you. Sleep tight.Night all. Be safe. Be kind.
Interesting thought!Ok, so it IS POSSIBLE, that this IS the SECOND wave because we had the first and weren't even aware if it!!
Hmm...
It is still my opinion that the EVALI vaping illness, last year was the precursor to COVID,
Time will tell.
All MOO!!!
Pretty sure not the USA.Which countries will use this knowledge as they plan the next step for school children?

It’s not going to work, IMOI think we all know this going back to school is not going to work. Just waiting until it explodes.
I agree, I feel sad and very worried for all the US folks too. I really worry for my elderly next door summer neighbours who can’t come up through the border from Texas....My other neighbours who have a veterinarian son in Washington....another friend with a grand daughter in Florida....and other local friends who have all three young adult children in California and yet another summer neighbour from Calgary Canada whose only daughter had to relocate to Texas with her four small children when Calgary oilfield production was on a downturn and her husband was transferred to Houston. We are such a conjoined two countries and it just seems so strange to have the border closed. It’s for a good reason, however and if it saves lives it’s necessary but still truly sad.It makes me so sad and worried for you all in the U.S. I'm in Canada.
I wonder where, say, attending an 8th race class falls.
WHY????Coronavirus Live Updates: Trump Administration Walks Back Rule That Would Have Stripped Some Foreign Student Visas
The administration orders hospitals to bypass the C.D.C. with key virus data, alarming health experts.
The Trump administration has ordered hospitals to bypass the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and, beginning on Wednesday, send all coronavirus patient information to a central database in Washington — a move that has alarmed public health experts who fear the data will be distorted for political gain.
The new instructions are contained in a little-noticed document posted this week on the Department of Health and Human Services’ website, Sheryl Gay Stolberg reports. From now on, H.H.S., and not the C.D.C., will collect daily reports about the patients that each hospital is treating, how many beds and ventilators are available, and other information vital to tracking the pandemic.
Hospital data on coronavirus patients will now be rerouted to the Trump administration instead of first being sent to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed to CNN on Tuesday.
Michael Caputo, the assistant secretary for public affairs at the department, confirmed the change first reported by The New York Times earlier in the day, saying in a statement that the "new faster and complete data system is what our nation needs to defeat the coronavirus and the CDC, an operating division of HHS, will certainly participate in this streamlined all-of-government response. They will simply no longer control it."
"The CDC's old hospital data gathering operation once worked well monitoring hospital information across the country, but it's an inadequate system today," Caputo said in the statement.
The Times said hospitals are to begin reporting the data to HHS on Wednesday, noting also that the "database that will receive new information is not open to the public, which could affect the work of scores of researchers, modelers and health officials who rely on C.D.C. data to make projections and crucial decisions."
Yep I’m in British Columbia and from what Bonnie Henry says it could be a long time before it opens . I wish it extended to flights airlines need more accountability. . I really hope the us numbers go down soon .Yes, at least several of us have thought that Trudeau is just going to keep rolling the border closure over for 30 days, and then 30 more days, and then 30 more days ...... until the US gets this virus under control.
Hello neighbour. I’m in BC too...and yes in today’s briefing Dr. Bonnie Henry certainly did indicate that she’s in no hurry to see the border reopen. She has been involved in other disease outbreaks in the world and I found it interesting that she admitted during question period that she had not at the beginning ever expected this one to become so out of control. In additional news yesterday, I think coming out of eastern Canada, plans were being made for extra security/ scrutiny at the border.Yep I’m in British Columbia and from what Bonnie Henry says it could be a long time before it opens . I wish it extended to flights airlines need more accountability. . I really hope the us numbers go down soon .
This absolutely boggles the mind! I don't understand why they chose to do this. I mean, I read the 'streamlining' reason but it seems like a step back in transparency and more sidelining of the CDC and Fauci, which doesn't bode well. The database will no longer be accessible to the public, which is of MAJOR concern. JMO, of course.
This is actually pretty big news and it was slipped into a memo.

Unbelievable. Actually, totally believable. Let's hope the hospitals do the right thing. I wonder if the press can force access to the raw data through FOIA and some lawsuits. Always support a free press - even if you don't choose to get info from certain outlets. JMO.
