This doesn't even make sense. Florida's leadership has seemingly done almost every single thing that is contradictory to common sense.

That has been left up to local authorities. I guess that way there can be zero accountability. Perhaps, local government will step up again.
And these counties probably constitute 3/5 (moo) of the population given they include Miami and other highly populated southern counties, orlando, jacksonville, Tampa St, Pete and other larger towns.
Once the counties established the mask mandates....many more people felt safer to go out to stores more---> spending more money.
As mentioned, our bars here in Nassau County, opened up earlier (than tomorrow), because they shifted to offering food too.... AND have extensive outside patios. The two largest are now doing a booming business getting closer to 100% revenues year over year......
