I have SO wanted to go for sushi. But, here in So. California I can't find anyone serving. Take out is just not the same imo. Fully vaccinated for 3 weeks now.
I hope you get to enjoy sushi very soon. In Michigan, restaurants have been closed for indoor dining off & on since March, 2020. Restaurants were open in late spring/summer with capacity restrictions and curfews. Outdoor dining is limited in Michigan, but some restaurants were able to accommodate limited outdoor guests. During the times when indoor dining was not permitted, most restaurants remained open for takeout, but some were forced to close permanently due to lack of business. Due to a surge in cases, restaurants closed again in the fall and remained closed through the holiday season, reopening with capacity restrictions and curfews in early February. I don't think there will be any more closures, but capacity restrictions will likely continue for a while. Dining out is one of DH and my favorite pastimes, and we are happy to be able to enjoy dinners out occasionally once again. We have a favorite restaurant (Italian) that we truly missed during the closures, and we hope to make up for the many times that we would have had dinner there. I sincerely hope that it won't be too long before you can have sushi at your favorite restaurant
