Criminal Defense Attorney for Casey - Linda Kenney Baden

  • #101
Can anyone figure out why LKB's husband, famed pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, has been very outspoken in terms of the forensic evidence favoring the prosecution's case....yet his own wife is a member of the defense team and proclaims KC's innocence? It just seems like a very awkward conflict of interest if you ask me....

both were on the phil spector case - for the defense - during the trial while on the stand Dr. Baden came out with info/a theory that had not been heard before. The judge decided “a deliberate and knowing violation of the discovery statute. ..."

They play dirty. When this happened (above) LKB was not in the courtroom but conveniently out sick

Dr Baden has never struck me as being pro prosecution and whenever he speaks of this case he is horribly misinformed.
He has stated that all of Caylee's bones were contained in the bag(s)
and he said that more than just one time.
I don't know how old he is but he's seems borderline senile. jmo

And watch that they don't do the same thing in this trial.

LKB, Dr. Lee and Dr. Spitz worked for defense at Phil Spector's first trial. All are now on KC's team.

He's either going senile or he's easily bought/swayed. I was reading about Scott Bechler's ephedra death and he was the only coroner involved that said that without a doubt Ephedra did NOT cause Scott's death. He was hired by the company who made the Ephedra and was being sued by Scott's wife.

The Baden's and Dr. Lee succesfully wreaked havoc and pushed the limits at the Spector trial. I think it's no mistake Baez hired all three of them for KC's defense. Eta: to clarify that the three includes LKB, Dr. Lee and Spitz, not Dr. Baden.

And Spector admitted, "I think I just killed someone" :steamed: And he rides off into the Sunset & gets married.

How do they live with themselves?:liar::liar::liar:

Sorry I didn't see this before. I posted the same info in another thread about the Bechler case and Dr. Baden.

I wouldn't be so sure we won't see Dr. Baden in this case on the defense side before it's over, unless they have learned from the Spector case how bad it appears. I don't think it will stop him that he has been all over the place on tv taking a contrary position. It's interesting that LKB and Dr. B did not return for Spector II, although the rest of the team of experts appears to have done so (Di Maio, Spitz).

Lol, I saw your post and figured we must be on the same track this morning.

ITA, about Dr. Baden being hired by KC's defense. I'm kinda suprised it hasn't happened yet.

One thing that was cool about the motion hearing the other day. Is we got a glimpse into how the defense is going to attack the forensic procedures....and they failed miserably. Even LKB was bumbling and she usually doesn't bumble. The defense IMO, came awfully close to implicating themselves in the sudden mysterious discovery of the "17 hairs".

ETA: I think Dr. Lee fancies himself a magician that can make evidence disappear and appear.

Does anyone else wonder if the 17 hairs are going to be from a live Caylee, minus the death band? Somehow I'm reminded of Cindy witholding Caylee's brush. Remember how interested John A was in the meeting that LKB, Baez, and the PI's had at the Anthony's house?

Not sure if this woman has been discussed much here, but I came across this vid this morning.
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/video/?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=3541342

Boy, she sure seems pushy . She might get somewhere with that personality in New York but Orlando is closer to Mayberry RFD, lol.
She even said the judge needs to be educated on the law!

I'll bet KS really likes her cause she's tough but IMO, LKB will agitate the good ol' jurors bigtime. You think?
Miss Piggy will agitate the Jurors and the Judge BIG TIME.

She was awful at the last hearing, and, they lost all wants. LOL

A few years ago, two men were fistfighting at night on a street in my city.
The one man hit the other man with his fist, causing him to fall and hit his head on the concrete and he died.

The case eventually went to trial and I followed it in the paper thinking, "Of course the man who hit the other man will be found guilty".

Then the defense called in Dr. Baden. He convinced the jury that the man did not die because of the punch, but he died because he hit his head on the concrete. The jury brought in a not guilty plea.

Ever since then, I cannot stand it when Dr. Baden is on TV. I think the jury was "star struck" and there was no justice for the man who died.

In my opinion, most of these talking heads will say whatever they are paid to say.

Her abrasive voice and fast talking surely grate on my sensitive southern ears. :p I have no doubt unless she changes her manner of speaking she will turn off most of the jurors

Her hideous, over-the-top, flamboyant fashion choices don't help either .. :croc:

if this is ever made into a movie I think Al Pacino should play LKB

Was going to give you a, "thumbs up" thingy but, this is soooooo funny I couldn't just say, thanks! :p
