I thought, because of a new law, the attorneys couldn't withdraw after July 1, was it? Wasn't that the speculation about why AL withdrew when she did on June 30?

My mind is all fuzzy about this... so maybe someone can clarify for me.

I think Baden can withdraw because she did not have a contract to be paid? She was pro-bono. Not sure.

Linda Kenney Baden - not paid - kind enough to do pro bono - come from NY"

LKB said: "Baden - I can rep to court - I rescinded retainer agreement - work pro bono now, never paid anyway"

State asked about Baden - any conv publishers, producers, photographers? - Baden said "No"
no future deals, interviews

Thanks, ThinkTank! So it was only attorneys who were being paid who could not withdraw after a certain date, after a client was declared indigent......

And that's why AL got in just under the wire...

Weren't Baez and Mason recently in New York? I wonder what kind of dustup happened there that we don't know about..LBK has had lots of time to withdraw - why now?

Does she feel like she can't work with Ann Finnell? Is she annoyed Baez asked the JAC for expenses for Ann and not for her? Is she frustrated beyond belief about working with Mason?

Is there even more damning evidence behind the scene we don't yet know about?

I have another question too... The way ICA's lawyers are dropping like flies... has that happened in other murder trials???? It sure doesn't LOOK good to me... but it might be "the norm"...for all I know....

I think the NY trip was to be in early November, at the last hearing I remember them asking for more time and HHJP said no!
