I'm shocked that this trial is entering week 5!

The best justice I've witnessed in decades was this past week at the St Louis trial of husband Beau Rothwell (who murdered his wife Jennifer in 2019). Jury selection began on Monday and by Thursday he was convicted of first-degree murder --and this quick justice even included the defendant taking the stand to testify!

He won't be sentenced until July but he's still going to be gone for life.

DABATE UPDATE: Both state/defense have completed their final arguments. State told the jury Dabate’s alleged plan to kill Connie was an “irrational, illogical and horrible way he could be the hero and not the black sheep of the family after impregnating his girlfriend.


Dabate’s attorneys say there are multiple points of reasonable doubt incl. unidentified DNA on the couple’s bedroom closet doorknob, handle of the murder weapon, chair Dabate says the intruder tied him to and inside his shirt collar and that none of Dabate’s DNA is on Connie.

Closing arguments have wrapped up in the Rick Dabate trial. The judge is now charging the jury with the rules and responsibilities of their duties before they will be sequestered for deliberation.
