Burla gap is missing between 5 and 7 roughly.

I need to rewatch this during the morning recess.

My analysis
Raptor was at PG's. Stopped at one location, then at Sturbridge from 10 into 12:30 roughly.
Gap.
Then at a gas station
Also recorded the Albany trip.
And the Raptor driving alongside 4 JC I'm the later evening.

2017 Chevy Suburban

Quite a bit of phone data
Limited GPS data, none retrieved from those dates

Funny, I was thinking gosh he’s enthusiastic about his job!
Exactly the type of person I want to explain this kind of thing to me (and a jury of my peers).

He couldn’t even take his own dog to the vet, and it’s not like fD actually had anything to do, himself. Everyone else did actual work. He didn’t even appear to supervise. He couldn’t be bothered to do it-sent PG to do such a menial task. That’s how much he cared about Beckham.
To speak for poor Beckham’s point of view- he passed with a compassionate man who he spent as much time with as he could. (Under PG’s desk all the time) I would much rather he passed with someone he truly was friends with and considered family❤️I am sure the kind of man PG appears to be, he showed him more kindness love and compassion than fd is capable of.

It does surprise me about Bowman.
No idea, but my theory is he thought his client would come to her senses, then he'd produce the box with the best spin possible. He probably thought the unethical and/or illegal actions by M were understandable and smaller potatoes compared to Fotis and Kent. But M had to hold her position for whatever reason. So he was left holding the box that could only be delivered by thud, not spin. So he passed it on with the client.

I try to capture the gist of the testimony and something of the tenor, but I'm telling you -- trying to follow JS is a workout. Professor Hinkle. He is just all over the place. Disjointed. Addresses witnesses with raw disdain. Every whiny objection results in delay as the Judge has to try to make sense of it for JS. Considering he's had years to prepare, he's taken Defense 101 to new lows.

If you have the facts on your side, pound the facts. If you have the law on your side, pound the law. If you have neither facts nor the law, pound the table.

And I guess if that doesn't work, shuffle papers and pretend they matter.

JMwearyOpinion
agree. Also, I think he is trying to make a complicated narrative more so.

If he's lucky, a juror will think, I don't get this, so reasonable doubt.

Watching JS now to see that "thrust" when he gets aggressive

Did JS just open a door he shouldn't of by bringing up putting your phone in airplane mode?

JS on Cross

His first question-- the witness doesn't understand what he means

[Welcome to the Club, Witness]

JS asks if car owners can turn off their vehicle GPS. Witness is unaware of any.

JS: "well, have you looked into it?"

  • #492
JS is arguing with the witness. JS seems to think someone could turn the vehicle GPS on and later off. Witness firm that this isn't a thing.

Just to be clear that I am in no way suggesting to watch this atty as she is late to the case and frankly doesn’t have the backstory on the divorce and FORE group. But she is giving a perspective on procedural issues and sometimes having a fresh pair of eyes on a complex case can be helpful and interesting.

Just putting this out there as there are few attys following this case on social media.
MOO
I have been following this atty (“Harvard Lawyer Lee”) on YouTube. She’s very even-handed, just discusses the facts and has not had any significant negative comments re the performance of the lawyers involved (hard to imagine). She does seem to do quite a bit of site promotion and I don’t understand the “supersticker” process and money contributions. I’ve not seen that on other channels. But she is enjoyable and avoids falling into legalize when answering questions.

Oh man I LOVE this witness.
JS you said the accuracy is within 16 to say 20 feet?
Witness moves in to the microphone - I said 16.

What was the story with the porche? I know it was titled in Jennifer’s name, but do we know who was driving it when the accident happened, or if it was insured at the time?
IIRC, this was in MTs interview that we have seen. FD was driving too fast in icy conditions with MT and daughter in car and skidded and smashed into trees. I believe she said it was PG (or another Fore employee) had to come pick up MT and her daughter. It was near 4JC. The airbags deployed.
MOO- this is what I recall the story to be, check her LE interviews #1 or 2 that we’ve seen.

JS very concerned about colors. Red, green. One lighter colored.
Witness says the dots reflect different sources of data.
Witness can answer the defense's questions if he could review his data.

JS: asks if the witness is aware that there's an accuracy of 85%

Objection but JS continues.

JS is asking about the short drive the Raptor showed near 4 JC. Witness says his experience the data points are spot on.

JS is referencing an aerial which would should the Raptor driving on the lawn at 8:14.

Witness says yes. He trusts the data, the vehicle was on the grass.

OMG

JS asked if EST means estimated. Eastern Standard Time

Witness mistakenly labeled it EST but it was EDT. Data still accurate.

  • #497
JS now asking about the morning data.

Witness testifies that he had three data points 9:53-4. 12:21-22. 12: 30-12:30 placing the Raptor at Sturbridge.

[Hello, just like PG said.]

[And there was no data recovered immediately after that -- JS tried to paint that as nefarious yesterday!]

  • #498
JS asks if the witness can say the Raptor was at Sturbridge continuously. He cannot.

Now JS refers to data showing a vehicle parked just off the driveway on grass, suggests the driver always parks on the driveway. Witness concedes that pinpoint accuracy could be off by a couple of feet.

JS is both shady and clueless trying to infer to the jury that this IMO EXCELLENT witness would somehow 'estimate' (EST) time stamps.
