It’s brushing to the heart to hear JS trying his best to place PG in the middle of a conspiracy to commit murder. That doesn’t change the fact that MT was in on it with FD. Yet JS is trying his best. I know PG will be glad when this day is over.

Judge:
"That ground has been PLOWED "

The defense theory appears to be that since JS lost his notes and exhibits, PG went to lunch and never went back.

PG is testifying that he does not recall lunch on that day.

it's sus that JS isn't just waiting for infotainment data- I think he wants the jury to put it in their heads that PG had a long lunch without testimony, video or infotainment data.

This. Provide the proof. I'd be curious to see if JS entered the entire log of Raptor location data so the state can just say, "Hey, look at this, does it help you recollect that you went back or didn't?"

JS is asking about 5/24, FD telling him to make a timeline.

PG said he didn't need to make a timeline.

Back to the restaurant.

Objection.

Judge: that ground has been plowed. It's a waste of time. No more discussion of the Chinese restaurant.

JS leads with the Chinese restaurant and the Judge halts him. Ground, plowed. Sustained.

The sound of the guys next door trimming trees is more appealing than listening to this cross.

Sounds like we may have another category for the Bingo card? ‘Waste of Time’. Contributed by judge‘s comment. We also just enjoyed Litany and That Ground has been Plowed (reference: Chinese restaurant testimony). MOO

JS asks about the truck being sparkly clean.

State objects to the sarcasm.

JS references a car wash Mr. Sparkle.

PG isn't certain about the day. Recalls joking about "did you fix my truck too?"

Afternoon recess

I wonder how MT thinks this is going…

It's exhausting trying to summarize cross.

JS is all over the place. It's a circle without a point.

I thought we would end early today but after the 5th reference to the Chinese Restaurant told myself I was being silly to entertain that idea.

Sad prediction:

JS is purposefully running out the clock so he can bring PG back tomorrow for continued cross.

So he (JS) can do the homework his dog ate yesterday.

And try this whole day over.

....and then complain again about his witnesses needing a more precise time to travel.

Honestly, the attitude, being wildly unprepared, and looking more and more tired every day makes me thinking he is pulling late nights with some stiff drinks.

I agree. I almost want to turn it off. I would drink but at work.
Strongly suggest hard seltzer with a can cover….had to stop for last meeting but it’s making this all tolerable!

Don’t drink and drive folks!

Looks like today the game is “pick a number any number”!

What a total waste of time. He is simply trying to get witness to perjure himself as it’s all a total game.

This is wrong.

Why no state objections!?

I'm on my third cup of coffee... Would vodka in coffee taste good? ;)

No, don’t think so…but vodka in a tasty smoothie might make your afternoon a bit better!

Before day's end, will JS move for mistrial, declare PG a hostile witness, or refer to more evidence he can't produce?
