Respectfully, I don't believe that it is obvious that she did not feel as if she was in imminent danger. I believe she knew she was in danger, and that it may be imminent, and one can never be so adequately prepared that someone cannot get to them, if they are hellbent on doing so. I think we all know that, and I would imagine that a woman as intelligent as Jennifer is did as well. JMO
My feeling is that she felt the children were in more imminent danger of being removed to Greece and that's why she was working so hard for the supervised visits, the prohibitions on teaching them Greek, making sure the younger ones did not get Greek passports.
I'm sure she felt threatened by him, but her actions tell me she was more concerned about them being illegally abducted out of the country.
Also, very interesting that they would go to NYC with her mother the night before they were to be returned to FD for a supervised one-day (not overnight) visit on a long holiday. I think she knew there was a heightened level of danger to them because of the legal orders he had just received that would require him to provide documents to the court that could expose more fraud on his part. I just think she knew something was up to make them take a 4+ hour drive to and fro when they could have just stayed in NC that night.
I know the children had an armed guard with them in NYC by the end of the weekend. Do we know when they started getting armed protection? Was it before Friday May 24?
