Must have been msm bc I didn’t know he was divorced, her name, any other facts to allow me to creep her. Just can’t tell you where I read about it. Might have been here on an earlier thread: graduated from law school in Austin Texas. Linked info bc Texas is home to another ex wife linked to Utah Mackenzie Leuck case. And I’m in Texas. And a lawyer. Co ink eee dinks.
Multiple MSM articles have been written on FD wife 1 (New York Post/Hartford Courant/People). I figured she dodged a bullet in escaping the marriage young even though possibly financially devastated but at least alive so believed she deserves her privacy until such time as LE brings her into the mix, if ever. She also has been away from the FD scene by all accounts and most likely not part of this present sad situation. MOO

And such a shame that after living for 85 years GF has to contend with fighting this battle on her own. I feel for her.

I greatly admire what GF has done and I think I would say this no matter what her age! She is a force of nature and her grandchildren are blessed to have her in their lives IMO.

I believe I read that as well. Might have been listed in the obituary for her father, Mr. Farber. Can’t remember his first name. Usual name.
Hilliard.

Just wish there was more about this. I would think LE investigated the inside of trash container after information was received about the dogs barking and banging noises. Banging on the walls of the trash container would sound different than banging on the rim of a steel drum. But in either case, who was banging? What was being banged on? Was there evidence of crime or anything of interest in the container? Unanswered questions that could lead to discovery of her body. Divorce proceedings have little to do with finding her body IMO.

Agreed. That there is nothing being said about it, besides (from what I understand) the one homeowner who didn’t even hear it himself, I think it’s irrelevant. If there are others that talked about it I missed those!

Waveny Pond picture. Pond can be accessed from either Park entrance (Lapham Rd or South Ave.) and there is a path that is car/truck width that passes by the pond. There is no fence around the pond and its possible to walk into the pond (or skate as people do in the winter sometimes) from the side of the pond nearest the wider trail. On one end of the pond is a drainage viaduct that is fenced off and the other end of the pond is true swamp/march looking that is totally mud at this point of the year.

Usually the entrance to the car/truck path is blocked using a metal chain but work is being done in the area with large equipment so the chain blocking the entrance is down now.

The pond is located a short walk also from the rear of Waveny House. Waveny House sits on a bit of a hill so the side lawn slopes downward rather steeply from the main house portion of the property. The pond can also be reached via the paths that circle the property as well. For example, if someone parked their car on Lapham Rd. where JD Suburban was found and then proceeded to jog/run along the side of the park that is parallel to the Merritt Parkway then eventually you would hit the pond.

I'm not certain if there is a car width entrance to the path that circles Waveny Park near where JD Suburban was found. There are two small breaks in the stone wall on Lapham near the parking spots that runners/walkers use to access the perimeter trails (a bike could fit through these small entrances but not a car/truck IMO). Animal Control patrols the park trails in a van but I've only seen the van access the trails from the main lawn behind Waveny House and the established car/truck paths. Non-official vehicles are banned from driving on the lawns.

I was doing research on 61 Sturbridge Hill Road (as far as MSM articles) and I hope these links I provide will help a bit.

It is incredibly important to mention that LE neither through Chief Leon Krolikowski NOR through New Canaan Police Lt Jason Ferraro tell us MANY of the details and locations of LE searches. So it is hard to know when and how long certain properties were/ are searched by LE.

Just some basic background:
61 Sturbridge Hill Road in New Canaan is an unfinished Fore Group, Inc. property
The house is colonial style and is 7,321 square feet
It has 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms
It sits on 2.43 acres of land
It is 3.4 miles (11 minutes drive) from JD’s 69 Welles Lane address. You can get back and forth via Frogtown Road although there are a couple of ways if you look at maps.

Additionally:
Ex-Fore Group employee was working there the week and day of the 24th. He was driving FoDu’s 2017 Black Ford SVT Raptor which was later seized on 5/31 by LE. FoDu had access to the now ex-employee’s vehicle which we have heard but haven’t got confirmed by LE is a Red Toyota Tacoma though we don’t know anything else. Ex-employee hired a defense attorney and has cooperated with police and handed over whatever LE needed. He is NOT a POI nor a suspect. LE has not talked about this to MSM. Ex-employee’s Attorney (Lindy Urso) has spoken briefly to MSM about this.

Most MSM articles referencing a “loud banging” sound coming from 61 Sturbridge Hill Road at 5 am on May 25–say that a dog sitter staying at a nearby home was the one who heard the banging.

Many neighbors spoke to the Stamford Advocate and NBC CT: the neighbor who hired the dog sitter who heard the loud banging—-he said that since June 6th (the date of the Stamford Advocate article) LE has been to his neighborhood at least 3 times since May 24th. No specifics on when and what times.

A nanny of one neighbor told MSM she saw LE search the large metal dumpster on the property on June 3rd. No idea if this was the first search or not.

Another neighbor told MSM that LE had visited him and requested his security video going back to May 19.

LE officially executed at least one search warrant we know of on June 5. There could have been an emergency warrant like what was executed on 4 Jefferson Crossing the weekend prior to June 6th.

Here are links to all the information:
Jennifer Dulos case: Loud bangs at New Canaan home; Michelle Troconis meets with authorities

Loud banging heard at Fotis Dulos’ New Canaan property one day after Jennifer’s disappearance

The point is we don’t know officially how many times 61 Sturbridge Hill Road has been searched and when the first time LE entered the property to search. We don’t know when they first searched the neighborhood around the property. We can only rely on what eye-witnesses tell MSM and MSM on the scene reporting. LE doesn’t say much at all about their searches.

Hope that helps.

Was it LE or a reporter who said LE was honing in on the 2 drains,
one at Sturbridge and one at JC?
I think this was a leak from LE that that information is part of the
whole puzzle of what they think happened to her. I'm sure LE
has the whole puzzle put together by now and I'm optimistic
they will go after FD as soon as they can.

Well said. At least she has the resources to hire excellent attorneys. It would be much worse without them.

I missed the drain posts? And I’ve been following so closely. So what’s that all about?

I also missed the reports about the drains..I certainly haven't read or watched or listened to all the msm's, but would love to do so. Was this a recent report?

The NERVE of this man. So JD's parents are also being charged by
bank because they co-signed for his home in Farmington at JC and
this loon was living there with his golddigger gf, free of charge and
maintains his office there. No wonder he has it listed at twice the appraised value. HAH.

What a slimy mess he made coming into this family. It's like they invited the devil into their lives.

And such a shame that after living for 85 years GF has to contend with fighting this battle on her own. I feel for her.

 Obviously I'm having a reading challenged day, but I couldn't find anything in the New Canaanite article about the parents cosigning on the JC home. I need direction and help!

It’s been mentioned a couple of times in the previous threads regarding the estate of HF vs FoDu. Hilliard and Gloria Farber co-signed on the 4 Jefferson Crossing address. As guarantors I believe. I posted a link in the previous thread I will try to find it if I can. If you google the lawsuit you can find where GF says she and HF were on the 4 Jefferson Crossing deal.

Here you go:

“Jefferson Crossing in Farmington, part an enclave Dulos developed, is the subject of a separate legal action filed by his father-in-law’s estate. That lawsuit claims Dulos hasn’t made a mortgage payment on the home since the end of 2018, court documents show.

The estate is seeking full repayment of a $500,000 promissory note from 2012, of which nearly $180,000 is not paid. The note came due on July 1, 2017. In addition, the estate is pushing to collect the remainder of a $2.3 million mortgage, a refinancing of 4 Jefferson that Hilliard and Gloria Farber guaranteed.”

Before being jailed in connection with the disappearance of Jennifer Farber Dulos, her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, faced a downward spiral in his business and marriage

The Hartford Courant, Stamford Advocate and the New Canaanite have all covered the estate of HF v. FoDu in much detail. Most of the articles are comprehensive but confusing. You almost need to reference more than one to get all the details. The one I linked is the most comprehensive one I have seen apart from one other.

Until JD's missing thread I never knew that Connecticut was so beautiful. So much wooded area, So much water! -ponds, bays, lakes, etc. Just looks gorgeous in all these pics. Serene & peaceful, even.

Unfortunate that the beautiful outdoors there offers too many places for our JD's body to be hidden.

Waiting waiting waiting for FD to be arrested and JD to be located. FD & Pettis' nonsense has gone on too long.

ITA! Hoping for an arrest as soon as LE feels they have an thoroughly vetted case. I keep hoping and praying for JDs remains to be found as well.

Yeah old Norm Pattis is certainly getting it from everyone theses days regarding his missing JD theories: the family of JD making statements via their spokeswoman Carrie Luft, various defense attorneys interviewed by the Stamford Advocate that thought FoDu giving an interview last week was a mistake, Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl author) who is disgusted with NP’s theory that he first mentioned on 6/24, most of the people truly following this case etc...

Not saying what the best strategy is but so far the lay low approach with no comments to the media that MT’s attorney, Andrew Bowman, is deploying seems to be the better strategy.

Jmo ofcourse

Speaking of Pattis , how is FD paying his attorney ? Surely he has been cut off from JD ‘s funds ? MT obviously has familial help but does he as well? I’m sure Norm isn’t doing this pro bono.

IMO the loud banging happened, and could be relevant, regardless of whether it was heard by a homeowner or anyone present in the neighborhood, and especially since the dogs that started barking ended up barking for hours (BBM). Investigated by LE and happened within less than 24 hours since JD went missing, at a remote property owned by her estranged husband. Occam's razor IMO. LE hasn't made any statements detailing follow up or verification of anything reported in MSM, so for all the public knows, it was a tip they did follow up on, at least by searching the property three times per MSM below.

It just dawned on me that FD built all the houses on Jefferson Crossing. I know most people feel his houses aren't that great, but to me they are stunning.
And @Hazelnutty , the entire state is beautiful. I no longer live there and when I see the beautiful pics it is bittersweet for me. Each town has it's own flavor and history. Was a wonderful place to raise children. Tons of private schools and all the public schools were quite good.
