What is eerie is it was almost a week later.
EE demanded to get his truck back on 5/24.
When did he acquiesce and give the truck back?
MOO.
That very afternoon. MT had obviously and IMO deliberately taken the keys to the Tacoma with her when she left in a ploy to get EE to leave the truck with FD over the weekend. Had the EE not insisted upon its return that very day, those back seats would have been history IMO. This puts MT up to her neck in at least the post-murder activity. In reading the State's documents today, other questions jumped out at me:
1. FD's phone travelled to 80 MS at 1:37 on the 24th. How did it get there? If MT took it there, who told her to? When? MT told LE that she and FD ate a quick lunch , but she did not ask him where he had been and didn't discuss anything of substance. Her recollection then gets fuzzy, so that makes me wonder. A lot. (Of course, I am also surprised that was not curious about why FD left his phone at home that morning);
2.From 1:37 to 3:38 p.m that same day, FD's phone remained at 80MS. IMO what happened during that time period is, of course, significant. Was MT at that location during that time period and if so, for how much of it? What has she told LE about FD's actions or behavior while she was with him at the house;
3. Why were she and FD waiting in the driveway to meet the EE when he drove up? Was it because they wanted to make sure he did not go into that home? If not, why not? What precisely did she observe at 80MS while she was there with FD?
4. Her boyfriend's estranged wife goes missing and the only thing they talk about when she learns of Jennifer's disappearance s the Alibi Script and not why it is being created? Remember MT KNEW the "facts" they each wrote out to remember their alibi were completely fabricated by the two of them, including FD's presence at "their" home (ie the one wholly paid for by Dr. Farber) the morning he murdered Jennifer. Was there no "a terrible thing happened and now the police are going to be looking at me?" No, "you have to help me or I am going to be blamed for a murder I didn't commit." FD had to have said more than is being disclosed. How did her agreement to lie for FD come about?
I have no doubt LE also has MT's phone information, so it most likely has answered some of these questions, although I do not remember LE ever saying it she surrendered her phone. If MT was in that house for 2 hours while FD was preparing evidence of his crime for disposal, there is simply no reason for her failure to recollect what she observed. So it would seem she has more information than is contained in the AW.
MT could have spent some of the afternoon of the 24th retrieving her daughter from school, but I am now interested in learning more about her whereabouts for the entire day. I have no doubt LE has constructed a significant timeline of her activities that day. Her clueless bimbo responses must surely have frustrated the State, though. I hope today was the day that MT began to understand her actions right now will seal her fate. She needs to bear in mind one of Mark Twain's oft-quoted sayings,"If you tell the truth, you don't have to 'remember' anything.
