Well, hooray for her that she feels things are just so OK that she can post such mundane things as a nice cup of coffee. I took a similar picture a couple of months ago; however, for me, it was just myself and a fellow teacher, enjoying a rare opportunity out to a coffee shop. And no, I did not bother with making it a social media picture for the world to see. Looks like either nouveau riche (wanna be) or totally immature behavior to me.

I think she did it to show FD she’s nearby ... they still follow each other’s personal and business account. They probably had memories there

Looks like Attorney Bowman after years and years as a respectable attorney has moved to the “dark side.” For money? IMO who knows why an attorney with such a wonderful reputation would roll in the mud with these criminals and “play the system” instead of simply being a great defense trial attorney like he was for so many years.....IMO

For what its worth, my sense is that Atty Bowman is simply trying to protect MT from herself and minimise her inevitable stay in prison.

Atty Bowman made a huge point (his only words thus far) of saying innocent until proven guilty in a court of law by a jury. He is correct that this is a cornerstone of the US system. Its hard to tell though if Atty Bowman is simply being too conservative in his views of the situation or whether the MT legal situation is simply a black hole from which he cannot save her other than to have her say zero and anyone at anytime and wait for trial and see where the chips fall in terms of the case put on by the State. Its also unclear whether Atty Bowman is in charge of his client or even his case with MT and this is tough to say as well as to watch play out in court.

With little to no info other than the public documents, my sense is that its a combo of both of these factors and its unfortunate because all it will do is waste a ton of time in court and push off the 12/3 trial date in Civil Court. I am curious what the Judge has to say about all this as my sense is that his patience is wearing quite thin and I also think Atty Weinstein might have more than a few things to say about the Atty Bowman tactics as well.

I don't believe Atty Bowman is doing what he is doing in Civil Court lightly even though IMO it all looks quite shady and unnecessary as IMO if his client had nothing to hide then it wouldn't be an issue to be deposed about what she did at FORE. On the surface of things, by fighting the deposition IMO it makes MT guilty of not only wrong doing at FORE (possibly both criminal and federal charges) but in other activities peripheral to FORE that MT and FD might have been involved in which might have also been illegal. Given the limited visibility we have on any of this in terms of what is going on, Atty Bowman now seems to be taking a hard stand perhaps as a first position and also perhaps knowing that the Judge will most likely disagree with his position.

As I've said before I really do question whether MT is even speaking to her atty and if she isn't speaking and sharing information that really makes it hard to defend her IMO. Perhaps these draconian steps we are seeing from Atty Bowman on behalf of MT really are the only way he won't be sued for poor representation? Again, IDK and this is just a feeble attempt to read the tea leaves. If MT isn't speaking to her counsel then I'm surprised Atty Bowman would stick around but perhaps its the prospect of the benjamins that is driving this endless parade of motions? IDK, hope its not the case as I thought he might be better than that but perhaps not? Will have to just keep watching this game play out as its sadly turned into a game.

I do have faith that GF has an excellent memory and is a believer in the idea of revenge is a dish best served cold. IMO what is happening in Civil Court presently will not be forgotten by anyone in the Farber family. I fully expect that when the time is right and circumstances are optimal that there will be no place in the world that MT and FD can hide to protect themselves from the inevitable civil litigation wrath from GF.

Initially I had hopes that Atty Bowman would recognise the larger picture but that doesn't seem to be playing out here at all. I'm not sure if this is because of him or his client? IMO time will tell. GF has my absolute sympathy for dealing with this incredible collection of substandard and defective human beings in the form of FD and MT and Atty Weinstein gets absolute credit for maintaining composure in the face of ongoing abuse of our legal system by the professional participants in the civil litigation.

I just read an email from FD stating why he wanted his “paramour” to attend the same school as his own 5 children. It is unbelievable that he wanted “all 6 kids to be a cohesive family unit.” After reading, yes, every document filed in the divorce proceedings, it is clear that FD only wanted access to the Farber’s money....JD’s filings were ALL filed to protect her children. MT...who didn’t have a husband, an income, a house or even a car moved into the house that JD’s parents were paying for....after JD’s father (who was the greatest guy ever died) FD moved this woman (who had no income, no career, no car) into the house provided for him by JD’s parents. IMO, JD lived for her 5 children (I knew her, so I know)...no one at their school knew FD (at all)...he never even attended parent/teacher conferences...only JD did...when she decided to move the 5 children from their Montessori school...5 years ago...she was the ONLY one who attended the meetings with the admissions director and the headmaster....no one at the school even met FD....he was either busy or out of town (1/3 of the year). The email came “out of the blue” wanting FD’s affair partner’s child (MT) to attend the school as well....everyone on the school’s leadership team was skeptical and felt ambushed. Luckily, JD (the devoted mom that she was) explained her side of the situation to the school’s leadership team.....everyone understood the reality that FD wanted to “move his paramour and her child into JD’s family home & have them all live together and attend school together. The school quickly realized the manipulation and oddness of this request & sent the records of the 5 Dulos children to their new school & even held a “going away” party/ceremony with the five awesome children.....there is something clinically wrong IMO with both FD and MT....the school officials recognized it right away....For 3 years, JD was one of the most involved/respected/ admired mother at the school....no one at the school knew FD.....the year JD moved to NC & MT had her daughter attend the school (only one year b4 she switched schools) was awkward and uncomfortable....MT was not a “distant parent” who even missed a scheduled parent/teacher conference....the fact that FD and now MT’s attorneys are “playing games,” “filing bogus claims,” “making up crazy stories & then retracting those stories to the press,” and then MT actually lying/retracting the lies and then making up more lies is so disheartening...the fake “alibi lies” are crazy....the fact that these 2 IMO sleezy, users, losers, are not in jail is unreal....their ankle bracelets that they’ve had to wear now for months are silly....it is time for there to be Justice for Jennifer...the Domestic Violence that she endured is unreal <modsnip: removed comment about race>

This is an interesting point about running into each other. I wonder if the public court documents will have the bracelet data for FD and MT in a format that can be viewed by the public. Since they are in effect out on bail and have been accused of very serious crimes by the State of CT, I wonder if a FOIA filing can be made to access the bracelet data of these two co-defendants? Will have to check with some members of the press to see if this can happen sooner rather than later as I am absolutely convinced that the co-defendants are in communication and possibly meeting in great part because of the social media access that both still maintain. I hope the State is on top of this issue? MOO

It's clear that FD had planned the murder carefully in advance, most likely along with MT.

Part of the plan was most likely to do the Albany run - it was probably though, intended to be done with EE's truck, which didn't stand out like a brand new sore thumb, as his Raptor did.

The area is not well-to-do, and is mostly black. He stopped at several trash cans... was it to put the blame on some unsuspecting trash-diver, as many do there, because they can't make ends meet, and then pin the murder on them somehow? We don't know, but it is one of many possibilities, methinks!

We may never know that part - but maybe he'll confess everything after AW 4, 5, and 6, and we will know!

i was thinking at lunch time that MT might have cut a deal weeks ago and has been helping the prosecution and LE by "wearing a wire" so to speak. not that she is actually wired but that she is actively collecting information as part of her plea deal. i know it's a long shot idea but i like tossing stuff around. so i'm wondering now if she is collecting info could there be an entrapment like case be made against the prosecution and LE for having MT out and about interacting in some fashion with FD and maybe other actors? or is it totally ok for LE to use one suspect against the other in gaining evidence? my thought was it would help explain why this case is in an extended quiet time. i'd guess it's ok but i do not know. thanks.

Typically with restraining orders or stay-away orders, there is some sort of limit in miles or even feet, no?

Atty Bowman came up with the idea of the 'no contact' order which was presented as a motion to the court and was approved. So, technically FD and MT are not to be in contact with each other and ditto for FD counsel reaching out to MT etc. The fact that proof exists that FD and MT continue to follow each other on social media is against what I understand the no contact order to be about, so IMO either the State needs to do something or the respective attys need to step up and bring the matter to the attention of the Court. The entire MT closed Insta is a farce and should be stopped as it appears that FD is part of the Insta. Ditto for FB messenger and WhatsApp. It just seems that in the case of FD and MT that rules are simply things for other people. MOO
