The NYPost article quotes FD as calling his wife a hermit. That steams me. 1. She had five young children at home. IF she NEVER left the house, to tend to them, it would be PERFECTLY UNDERSTANDABLE. But 2. There's ZERO EVIDENCE she was any kind of hermit, and in fact, ABUNDANT EVIDENCE of how active she was WITH HER CHILDREN. School, sports, activities, etc., etc.
The sick truth in this is what FD was really saying. IMO in effect, "JF became less and less interested (controlled) into doing what I LIKED, what I WANTED to do. She didn't want to fawn over me. She didn't want to accept my need for serial affairs. She wouldn't even let me move my latest mistress in." To call him selfish doesn't BEGIN to cover it. It's too late but I pray that Jennifer finally gets the justice she fought for while she was alive. Her soul deserves to know her children are safe.

RSBM to address these 3 points:
1. I am also baffled to an extent. FD doesn't baffle me at all. Of the things we KNOW she has done, they are terrible but I don't feel I know enough to get a good read on the WHY. Or even have a clue as to how far deep she is in as far as actually planning or committing this murder. We have been able to see years worth of court documents and interviews with FD, the movers who helped JD, JD blog posts. We know some details about MT past but not much more than surface details. I just don't feel I have her figured out. I would also like to know what FD told her about JD and their divorce. Probably this: She's crazy, our marriage has been over for a long time, in name only, she wants to cheat me out of the business I built, I have to get the kids away from her. I suspect that someday there will be a 48 Hours interview.

2. I don't think MT had to wind up FD. Maybe she did. She just seems so....milquetoast, boring as [REDACTED]. She could have gotten upset if the money started to dry up, but I don't think it ever truly dried up. I bet FD would liked to have dumped her a long time ago but she knows too much about FORE and he had to keep her happy. At least for the time being and definitely now. She should realize it could have been her that went missing instead of Jennifer.

3. I think the tears in the early [REDACTED] horrible photos were about the loss of a dream and the terrible situation she finds herself in. If she wasn't involved with planning/commission of the murder, she should have known very quickly afterwards what happened even if FD didn't spell it out to her. I would have went to police right away if I had no hand in this crime. I'm not going to prison for anyone. But that's just me. Not MT.

There was a segment on 60 min about a guy that runs one of these 'image rehab' services and depending on what is necessary it can be quite pricey. Most of his money is made via ongoing contracts with people in the public eye and he and his team manage the digital footprint. My guess is that MT needs 'ongoing' help managing her digital footprint as IMO her situation will just keep getting worse as the litigation moves on. If/When she becomes a convicted felon then I'm not sure the best internet scrub artist will be able to save her and I'm also not sure if returning to the wilds of Patagonia will eliminate the issue either! Internet is everywhere and even the most remote islands in Greece have some connection either via cell or satellite too.

I did post about reporting the AirBNB, though I never got around to actually reporting it - not sure if someone on here reported it or not. I had fully intended to do so, though, so my intent and perhaps my posts on this idea were ill-informed, and I'm sorry if so. Curious, though, if he changed his mind after realizing it could expose himself...? I'm sorry if my posts somehow contributed to diminishing any investigation.

Actually, while a WS being there would be excellent (I'd be in for helping to rent it!), I think LE should be all over the property. Thoughts:

1) It's where he and MT planned the murder. They found the "Alibi Scripts" there, no? What if there is more evidence? It's where they continued to cover it up afterwards (at minimum, in words). He may have bought items related to the murder or planning or cleanup that are still there. He may have done some follow-up to the murder - even upon her body -there. The murder weapon might still be there. Her body might be buried there.

2) LE might not have investigated everything there was to see. The house should have yellow tape around it, IMO. Did LE scour this house and property - it's huge - as much as possible? Did they miss anything inside or outside? Had he purchased sod before or after the murder? Did they inspect septic, well, woods, hidden rooms, inside walls and floors (think: The Telltale Heart) thoroughly?

3) Would he have wanted others to have their DNA and fingerprints over anything incriminating that was in the house?

4) He supposedly runs his 'business' out of there. Sure, people rent their homes, but who rents out their main place of business? Where will he stay and/or do his "business"?

I do wish LE could get back to that property.

Note that she stole the Martín Fierro quote that went along with their post too. Fierro ended up living as a fugitive, in addition to some of the more intriguing lines in the poem the text is taken from. Perhaps we are giving MT too much credit here though and she just wanted a pic with Patagonia and a knife.
Since we’ve been discussing her suspicious IG posts here she’s back to posting fake legit “rugs for sale” posts. It’s a pattern, whether it means anything or not. Maybe she enjoys giving WSers something to do while she charges her ankle bracelet. Game or not, she’s playing with fire (another code image that appears in her IG) by posting stuff like this when she’s facing such serious charges. Don’t know what AB is telling her, but stuff like this doesn’t help make her look innocent. There won’t be any rugs or IG in prison.

I do wonder if the 'return to rug selling' is a signal that she 'needs money' and whoever is the person in charge of sending the money has to send it to her? MOO

The NYP article is a prime example of lazy journalism. The writer grabbed bits from the Greek article (which, in relation to the marriage) was FD fantasy and the HC article about MT and FD "may have" broken up. This is the type of journalism is made for clicks and is damaging to the victim and the family and is reprehensible.

I'm sick of hearing that JFD withdrew in 2010....Yep, there probably were no "morning showers together," since JFD had just given birth to their youngest child and thus having five children under five requiring love, nurturing, and attention. JFD was not a 20-year-0ld mom. JD required sleep and a little nurturing herself, but I'm certain none was forthcoming from her immature husband who managed to be in Italy, skiing?, when his mother was njured and eventually died as a result of he Greek nanny hitting her with the car. So JFD was taking care of FD's mother, 5 children, and managing a nanny whose first language wasn't English. I'm tired thinking about this as I type. Throw in a little post-partum depression, and FD wins the most selfish husband/father imaginable.

However, this "reporter" picked up a few fooy tidbits, probably whispered in his ear by NP, and passes them off as reporting. This is journalism...this is hype for the defense...and Dean baby is going to hear about from me.

As far as MT and FD "breaking up" that only benefits FD. If she walks into court and recants her statements to the police, it can be said that she does so without any romantic entanglements with the defendant. Double, triple UGH! This gamesmanship should end...now.

The 2017 and 2018 garbage is not defensible. I gave the Greek report a "break" thinking it was an error in translation, but this reporter had obligation to check his "facts."
FD has stated he realized in 2016 that things were really over (translation: he was already sleeping with MT). He moved her into 4JX in 2017. Talk about poisoning a possible jury pool. Sloppy, sloppy news article written by an a poor reporter, or one who owes Norm a favor.

Being thoroughly disgusted, I'm taking the dog, who demands lots of attention, for a walk. Mind you, that's one dog.....I can't imagine 5 under 5.

Could occupy quite a bit of time to transcribe & then combine in date order aaaallll the times FD has ducked a court order or request! Switch typefaces so Family, Civil, and Criminal are easy to distinguish! Then ask retired judges, and other states' judges, and the Connecticut state court supervision office for professional opinions about the list.

Even using the Media thread here, that's good for filling numerous column inches.

I've thought a lot about the press issues and I'm not sure there are any clear cut answers other than lack of budgeting for investigative work and insufficient staffing to have a dedicated person stay on a particular case. Even stations and papers in CT that are following the Dulos case don't have consistent reporters and so with a complicated case like this one I would think it would be hard to be off the case for awhile and then be asked to write a piece etc. I would be hard pressed to name 5 reporters who have consistently been on this case day in and day out and that is sad.

There has been some good reporting (new canaannite and Marisa Alter are 2 that come to mind) but most have been IMO spotty and inconsistent. I've tried email editors story ideas of things that are on my list to look at but where I simply don't have time to do it quickly etc. Even papers that have staff are making mistakes as most of this case involves reading legal documents and if you don't have the staff to deal with that situation then its hard IMO and mistakes will be made. Its not just the Dulos case where this is being seen, many missing cases don't even end of getting any coverage at all or you have to fight super hard to get coverage. Its a sad situation IMO.

Truly I cannot blame the gag order for any of the recent reporting issues at all. There is so much investigative work to be done on the Dulos case but I don't think any of the papers in CT really want to take it on as reposting such as we have seen from the HC is simply too lucrative.

I do try to email reporters about errors and some papers have been very responsive, others such as the HC not at all. I think the best we can do is continue to talk about the case here and keep things going.

To make you feel better, there are A LOT of possibilities as to why the property was removed from AirBNB that have nothing to do with it being posted on a public site like this one.

-They could've gotten another lowball offer on the property and taken it
-Someone could've rented it through the end of the year (unlikely, but possible)
-LE intervention
-Info from the 'voluminous' discovery

I'm sure the fellow WS'ers can add to this list.

Out of curiosity, how would this post being removed affect the investigation you had in mind?
