Did he go out to sea, or are those "ponds" they have in CT really deep? Any locals that can answer?

The ponds/lakes are not that deep. Deepest lake in CT is Lake Wononscopomuc at about 100 feet (it is in Salisbury). Unless a body is encased in something, it will ultimately break apart and rise to the top as it decomposes.

He could have had someone put her in the LI Sound but that would require a boat. I think the answer as to where probably rests with KM who fell down some stairs on the day after Jennifer went missing. He may have taken her somewhere and has forgotten.....IMHO, this is his opportunity to get a deal.[/QUOTE]
LI Sound isn't deep until the Atlantic Ocean is reached beyond Montauk, NY and Block Island Sound and the LI Sound tidal flows are such that it swirls like a bathtub drain and the bottom is constantly churned upwards. This issue was addressed in depth in earlier thread. IMO placing a body in LIS doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

As the OP stated, there aren't many deep water lakes in CT. I think in a prior thread we looked at depths of CT reservoirs and the adjacent reservoirs in Westchester County (closest ones are about 15 min away from New Canaan CT) and didn't find anything very deep. Check prior threads for details as the State of CT maps for most of the CT State Parks (and some reservoirs) was posted and ditto for NYS.

We do have the Long Island Sound is about 250 feet deep; you wouldn't put a body in the Long Island Sound; which is considered an estuary for the Atlantic; but you go further out towards Long Island couple hours drive - and she's in the Atlantic Ocean..which is 11,000 feet deep..It was the officers opinion, one I didn't believe at the time, but now suspect - as its been so long..

SBM because it is making me crazed.

There seems to be a broken quote that is attributing things in crazy ways. I agree with everything you posted. I am very familiar with the area which is why I knew that the deepest lake is Wononscopomuc. There might be some abandoned quarries in the area but I don't think they would be deep enough.

I have no idea the waterways FD frequented but it probably would not raise a flag if he was out on the water where he did more than waterski.

Granby grave may have been for KM’s wife. Or both wives.

Interesting comment on house arrest for both MT and FD. At least I thought this bit was interesting. Speaks to a different level when the two were just out on bond with the GPS after the first arrest.

They can't leave the house, so if you want to go out and cut the lawn, you can't do that. You can ask the court for permission to be able to go out in your garage, because sometimes even going into the garage will trigger alarm to go off," said attorney and legal analyst Ryan McGuigan.
Fotis Dulos, former girlfriend under house arrest after release

Ofcourse LittleBitty relishes any possible issues those two may have while on house arrest. Hope it’s a stressful time for MT and FD...as it should be!

Are there any water filled quarries nearby? They can often be very deep

meanwhile the first thing FD does is leave the house and complain about the cameras...

MOO I think putting the victim in a pre-prepared grave like the one found at the hunting club is likely, and faster. It would take time and a boat to sink a body in deep part of even a small lake.
Somewhere within 10 minutes of Welles road house. 10 minutes there, five minutes business 10 minutes to the Tacoma on Lapham or Wavery.
Bicycle then put in back of Tacoma along with bag or bags of clean up and crime evidence. Then driving Tacoma north on Rt. 15, was passing New Canaan Service Center 10 minutes later at 11:12am.

Adding: the bedliner in the Suburban was removed - where did that go?
Why is JDs DNA on the Tacoma cab seats? Maybe from FDs pants?

Wasting tax payers dollars !
Actually I find find their presence wonderful. It's like they're saying, get used to us MT, cause soon you will have absolutely no freedom. Get used to being uncomfortable.

Yes IMO Its FRAUD.

Yes PEOPLES BANK should not have accepted these checks for deposit without the signature of JFd. Not only that, why is a joint account still open in the name of JFd when she is missing and how was Fd able to then transfer all the proceeds out of the joint account into his personal account? Were there no restrictions on the Joint acct?
^^sbm

I don't believe it's fraud -- especially with insurance checks which typically have dual payee lines. I believe AW confirmed these were insurance checks. The key word on the check is "OR."

Also, I know its acceptable for regular checks because I have a joint account with my mom that lives in another state and I can make deposits without her endorsement.

Except for the IRS, I think most two-party checks are issued as "OR." If you receive a joint tax return paper refund check, I know it must be endorsed by both taxpayers. And if you opt for an electronic/direct deposit refund it must also be deposited in a joint bank account.

Search for: Do both parties have to sign a joint check?

Can I deposit a 2 party insurance check?
Two-party insurance checks are the same as regular checks except that they feature two names on the “Pay to the order of” line instead of one. ... Party A or Party B.

If the word “or” is written between the two names, that means either party can endorse the check and deposit it into his or her personal bank account.

Maybe the gun club was the dry run or trial run - for the prepared grave they used somewhere else - as a holding cell - we could say - until ocean in a barrel or ocean in pieces in a barrel..sheesh...I don't know...and trial will be way off into the future before we know more, IMHO..

Troconis was medically evaluated & released from Stamford hospital earlier today. It was a standard evaluation and part of the condition of her release. She’s believed to be at home now. Her family has no comment.

Or, she was in there. These were the coffee-filled (?) seats, no?
