Good police work there @Alkali13
It helps so much when someone says they turned right or left for me anyway. I get lost in a mall without the map and the "You are here" dot. Thanks so much. I try to imagine the map and the grid and it just messes with me because I am map and mathematically challenged.

Testing with Luminol is an on scene process where the luminescence occurs via chemical reaction to hemoglobin, false positives CAN occur. It's a standard practice, does NOT require visible questionable stains and any positives MUST be confirmed by further testing.
Any + article is then evaluated for HUMAN blood & subsequent DNA.
ALL details MB knows & he's possibly "short-handing" the process for his audience. IMO, MOO
I think I’ve stated it before but thank you @joypath for rejoining us here at WS. For those of you who may not know, Joypath is a forensic pathologist who was incredibly beneficial to those of us who followed the Casey Anthony trial.
Thanks again and please correct me if I’m wrong. Her contributions are much appreciated as always and if I recall correctly, she is somewhat local to the area currently being discussed.

I just got off the phone with two other defense attorneys who say a grand jury indictment is only needed in special circumstances and that argument doesn’t apply here. @News12CT

I don't think it will. One attorney told me he doesn't know why Norm would file this except to get his name in the news.

When the grave was discovered the grates were moved and the twigs and stuff covering it was moved. IMO if the perps came back to that site and found it disturbed, it would have been abandoned and another place located. The bags of lime were gone but I don’t think they said anything about the tarp. After May 31st it was all covered up and back to normal.

I wonder if they found another spot to bury JFd or if something else was done. I also think it could have been for Mawhinney’s wife or both as some others have suggested. AMOO.

IMO the grates being moved may have been the go ahead to distribute the lime. How awful is that? Ugh

TODAY: local lawmakers—including the state senator from New Canaan—will introduce a new domestic violence legislation. They want more protections for women going through family court. It comes as Jennifer Dulos’ estranged husband was arrested for her murder. ⁦@News12CT

At some point soon, I plan on putting together a working timeline for myself so I don't have to keep referring back to the AWs for these answers, but I'm curious if anyone knows:

According to the Farmington surveillance, the last entry on 5/24 is the Raptor driven by FD (alone) pulling out of 80 MS at 5:28pm.

The Raptor driven by FD w/ MT arrives on Albany Ave at 7:31pm.

Do we have a detailed account of what FD & MT were doing in between this time?

If I remember, he has 3:
Greece. Turkey. USA. Long ago we spoke about him being raised in Crete? Born in Greece. Anyway, I kind of remember bc I have a close non-blood Greek relative. Nice guy, actually.
Maybe someone can recall the details. It was way early in the threads.

okay, I thought he was born in Turkey, in a area settled with Greeks. That is what people think he was born in Greece but he was born in Turkey.

this is confusing....wish we had documents showing, birth, naturalization, passports.

BIG Sigh

Also in referring to AW3 of FD when describing JD's black Chevy Suburban:
We know that at 6:59 pm on 5/24 NCPD gets a call about JD and responds to her 69 Welles Lane address. Shortly thereafter (it says approximately 7:00 pm) JDs 2017 Black Chevy Suburban is found on Lapham road adjacent to the SW portion of Waveny Park.

The vehicle is empty.
The running lights are on. (I looked at the model of vehicle and this could have simply been a mistake in wiping the vehicle down OR maybe FD didn't know how to operate and accidentally left them on OR it was done on purpose)
There is stain spatter on the passenger side of the vehicle. (no indication of whether it this is inside or outside). IMO probably outside.

So based on that...a lot of what many of you posted pieced altogether seems accurate.

Based on camera surveillance on a man wearing a hoodie and riding a bicycle similar in appearance to a vintage mercier bicycle is seen on Weed Street at approximately 7:30 am. Routes from where the Tacoma was parked (almost identical location to where JD's Suburban was abandoned) would possibly have taken the rider (FD) down Lapham Road, Old Stamford Road and Weed Street.

JD arrives at 69 Welles Lane in her Suburban at 8:05 am.

Speculation based on posters thoughts/ my own thoughts and AWs: The 2014 Range Rover is parked in the middle bay. FD has arrived at residence first. Is waiting outside the garage on the side of it where he cannot be seen by anyone coming down the driveway and approaching the garage. JD opens the garage while still in vehicle. Drives Suburban to the bay left of the Range Rover so that the passenger side of Suburban is next to the driver's side of the Range Rover. JD collects her purse and exits the vehicle and like a lot of us intends to enter the home through the garage mudroom door area and would likely close garage from a panel outside same door. Or she closes the garage door from her vehicle. Either way it doesn't matter because FD is already there having lied in wait for her and is in the garage. Her back is to the garage opening. As she is exiting the vehicle FD attacks her swiftly from behind. Maybe tries initially to restrain her or just outright hits her in the head or upper body with an object. She struggles. This blow does not knock her out. maybe tries to get around the suburban to escape from behind and winds up trapped between the RR and the Suburban (blood spatter would seem to indicate IMHO that this is the case. Several blows to get her to the ground. She is prone now and bleeding and suffering. He zip ties her to keep her from struggling. Maybe says all sorts of hateful awful things to her while doing so. Finds the camping pillows for the kids in the garage and once she is subdued with the zipties smothers her to death in the garage. Then bags her. Then begins the garage clean up. Then loads up all the items including his bike and the bucket and paper towel clean up and finally JD into the Suburban and departs Welles address at 10:25 am. The speculation is ofcourse a quilt of information and the above paragraph is MOO based on what I mentioned at the start of said paragraph.

And ...if FD had his bike , he brought it thru the mudroom door to load it into the Suburban which was why the nanny found it unlocked.
When he snuck into the garage he didn’t have time to quickly wheel his bike in at the same time as himself .
Moo

I also think he buried her; I think he had a deal cooked up with his attorney friend (KM) that both their soon to be exes would disappear, and two graves were dug.

Since KM's wife did not disappear and the one grave was found, JFD is in the other one (imo). Can't think of another reason an attorney would place himself in the middle of all this, at their property when the deed was being accomplished with an alibi phone call for FD coming in, unless something was in it for him (help with his wife's disappearance/death).

Mooo

does anyone think that any person other than FD actually dug a grave, if, indeed, a grave was dug, for JD? So he had to travel some where obscure with a shovel or a pick?
I also think it is odd that her clothing was separate from her body. Seems, IMO, if there was a grave, it should have been buried together. Why separate out items?

If this happened, what about her remains? Surely there has to be something, more than the discarded bloody rags etc.

Also, he would have had to flush blood down a drain. A lot of it. Did they check the drains? He would have likely made a large bleach investment at some point, no? I just hope that some of this info is known to police. Melanie McGuire, a petite nurse, dismembered her husband.
Considering they couldn’t be bothered to bring their own paper towels to clean up & used 10 rolls that were in JD’s house, I doubt they brought bleach.

PS. The fact they used 10 rolls of paper towels from her home, makes me believe a) she was definitely dead while they were there. b) there was a LOT of used paper towels not found (buried with her or tossed in other trash bins & not found?) c. They were not expecting such a large crime scene to clean up.

With
No, I think the childhood bike, like everything else in FD's life, was just good while it lasted and served a purpose, and when it was convenient for him to resurrect it to employ in his ploy to get to his estranged wife's house to kill her without using a motor vehicle that would be much more likely to be seen or captured on video, he pulled it out of his bag of tricks, assuming no one would remember it, bring it up, or tie it to him using it to pedal to her house and commit murder. He was that arrogant, he pulled the metal tag off it and put it in one of the trash bags he disposed of in Hartford the evening of the day she disappeared.

The more I think about all the egregious circumstances and history on FD's part, the DV, the abandonment of his wife and children, the usury of his wife and family's financial assets, the paramour he welcomed to live in the home he shared with his wife and children, the creeps he associated with, his wife's disappearance after a serious physical assault, etc., the more incredulous I am that AW#3 and arrests yesterday for murder and kidnapping for FD, and conspiracy to commit murder for MT & KM are even bailworthy.

That's just not right, IMO, no matter what, and adds insult to injury for JFd's loved ones that FD is still 'on the loose' and not kept behind bars after what he's been charged with by LE and the State of doing (murder, felony murder, and kidnapping). He's not a good candidate for bail, IMO, and there are many court decisions against him for not complying in family court, prior to the criminal charges against him.

I'm flabbergasted about the bail bonds for all 3 of them following AWs#3, even though CT may be an exception without capital murder (death penalty) leverage... FD seems like a real 'menace to society', or at least people he knows, and poses a public threat that should be weighed into bail decisions, IMO.

MOO

With regard to the previously cherished bike, I can share that I'm divorced from someone with some possibly similar personality traits and I remember how shocked I was by what he left behind when he moved out and never looked back for. Stuff that should have had obvious sentimental value (at least from my perspective and that I ultimately felt compelled to drop at his new place years later just because I couldn't personally bear to throw out on my end). For certain personalities, material things - and people! - are relatively transient and disposable and easily replaced with upgrades to newer models.

WS hates me right now and doesn't want to Reply, but in regards to burning bodies:

Definitely happens, and has happened in CT (see Shamia Smith). I don't think it happened here though for the sheer fact that the smoke likely would've been noticed in Farmington I imagine? I also think it would create a particularly... interesting smell?

Plus, as others have pointed out, why bother to burn the body but not the plethora of bloody evidence dumped in Hartford, clothes included?

it is not so much the depositing of the check that caused the possible problem here, but once it was deposited, the transfer to the FORE account, as that took the money out of the realm of "joint ownership," into the realm of FD's control. Would like to see the paperwork for the set up of the account. If the check was made out to "OR," why would FD put it in a joint account at all?

I know North, East, South, and West are Up, Right, Down, and Left respectively on a map, but when I see them used in the context of "headed West on," I always need to stop for a minute and visualize what they are actually saying, so I totally get it! It's also why I LOVE marking maps up for myself, it just makes things so much easier to visualize.

Yes.. that was such a Freudian slip of the tongue by MT wasn’t it ?
Saying she “wasn’t cleaning Jennifer “.

Slip of the tongue = “ When a person misspeaks usually under stress or nervousness.

Freudian Slip = Slip of the tongue that seems to inadvertently Reveal an unconscious thought that a person did not mean to say their secret is revealed or uncovered .

MT slip revealed that she was with Jennifer’s body.

moo
Replying to myself .
What I meant was ... I think FD was doing something to Jennifer’s body while MT was cleaning up The mess.

MT was watching but, she herself wasn’t touching or participating in cleaning Jennifer’s body .

Her Freudian slip was revealing that they had Jennifer’s body .

IMO

These are REALLY good points that have been mostly overlooked I think. ITA!

Dismemberment is hard, bloody work. Not sure fd could manage it by himself, not sure if he could handle the struggle of a fresh corpse: moving it, balancing it, the purge, & the "strength" of body tissues: ligaments, muscles & bones. Just as a "teaching tool", picture yourself disarticulating a raw large turkey....

am thinking that only a really sick individual would want to be chopping.... but could he have put the parts in kwik crete and put that under water some where? did he have time for that? ug. amount of time dealing with a corpse and transporting it different places = increased sickness, IMO.

I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly certain that once something is in a joint account, either party can take any and all of it out for any purpose they wish.

I'm more confused as to how and why that joint account still existed.
