Yes, the Subway receipt. What? Maybe Sonic was closed.

Actually could there be an innocent explanation? Does Subway do breakfasts? Did JF get Subway for everyone, en route to school? Or did the clean up crew get hungry? Ghastly.

The good news, if they've got a receipt, they've got a time stamp. If they've got a time stamp, they've got surveillance. And if they've got surveillance, they know who was driving and who was hungry.

I'll bet Fotis is dreaming that all the damning evidence will get thrown out. Sorry, Pal, too many cameras caught your every move.

Ha! I’m thinking the subway in NY...not the food chain!

It is stunning that someone else can end up with your voicemails when you take on an assigned number! But thank goodness this woman connected the dots quickly and then took the extra step of reporting to LE!

I'm kind of confused about this whole aspect of things. She was receiving his voice mails? Was he using this number to plan or scheme his crimes and LE had no idea because it was showing up on her landline?

Hi, first time poster--really impressed by so many of the posters on here--but I just read the bulk of the search warrants and then found this regarding the Subway receipt dated 5/24 and the Merritt Pkwy. and wanted to share:

The new CT Service Plazas are located along CT I-95, CT RT-15 – Merritt Pkwy – and CT I-395, Northbound and Southbound. 23 state-of-the-art Service Plazas open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with each offering a variety of leading hospitality and retail brands – including McDonald’s, Dunkin, Subway and a touch of what makes Connecticut so unique.

Edited to add: I am fairly local and do not believe there is a Subway in New Canaan

Subway! I'm a midwesterner, never once considered a subway TRAIN!! Not even when I googled "subway", and subway stations came up first! Nope, I had sandwich artistry on my brain.

Still, what would THAT receipt have been for???

Get thee to Page 269.

The 2015 Chevy Suburban, damaged in an accident on 05/17/2019, and regularly driven by MT was seen on surveillance IN THE CUL DE SAC where 69 Welles sits.

What? When???????

Anyone else reading this?????
It doesn't indicate the date, unless I read it too fast. But wow! That and the plurals used regarding clean up....

So he made sure not to be seen on surveillance biking there that morning. Because he wasn't detected. Didn't any witnesses see him? I wonder if this will come out?! Oh yeah...he had poison ivy the next few days when arrested! So a very good chance he used the woods. CREEP! So, so scary. This can't be more obvious, as I've said before. My opinions only.

NP responds to the warrants:
“A preliminary review of the warrant leaves us relieved and saddened. We’re relieved that there is nothing we didn’t expect or have heard about; saddened because it’s obvious the state police really have no idea what became of Jennifer. This remains an open case in our view.”

What is this looney smoking? There’s tremendous amount of evidence that JD murder occured and blood/video evidence of his client’s involvement so the LE has a very good idea what became of JD, sadly.

NP’s strategy now is solely to confuse that 1 juror. He has no other defense. How’s that “gone girl” theory going NP?

FD is lucky he met his match. The soulless devil to defend him. Both salivating towards one thing only..money. If there was never Hell, the fire just got kindled in CT.

Oh my...he entrusted a drunk guy to write up his alibi:

According to the Daily Mail, newly-released arrest warrants reveal that Mawhinney and Troconis may have "conspired with Dulos to kill his wife Jennifer by allegedly concocting alibis for him." Previously, it was said that Fotis himself had penned an alibi "script," which law enforcement later found at his residence.

Additionally, the attorney's wife claimed in court documents that Mawhinney and Dulos had created a complicated plan "to get rid of her" and that Fotis had "plotted to kill his attorney's wife in exchange for an alibi" for the morning of Jennifer's disappearance. This, in turn, raised the possibility that the two had "arranged some kind of sick trade."

His statements are incredibly rude and disrespectful to Jennifer's mother, children and family and friends. And considering the charge against his client is "murder."

Imagine what the scene/scenes looked like before they 'cleaned?' Thankfully they're not very good at cleaning. Moo.

School was around the corner from her house, which is strickly residential---houses on at least 2 acres of land.

Subway resturants can typically be found at the gas stations that are found along the Merritt Parkway. Dunkin Donuts as well ----all under on roof. These buildings are the ones which had video cameras attached to outside of the building/parking area---and thankfully, a view of the Merritt Parkway!

Perhaps ole FD need shot coffee before the hunt began. There is not a SUBWAY in NC. However, surrounding towns have stand alone.

JFd did not have her nanny with her the morning of 5/24---hard to believe she would have left kids by themselves to drive out of town to go to SUBWAY---when a Starbucks is so close to her house & in town
