Just listening to FD’s words on this matter, I am getting the feeling that either FD did not have a living will with a healthcare surrogate assigned or that maybe one existed with JF and was never changed (same with POA). If this is the case, what a mess this could turn into.

If there was one with JF as his healthcare surrogate (and POA) she has not legally been declared dead which leaves this up in the air even if a second surrogate was named only in the event that JF was no longer living.

This should make everyone aware of how important these legal docs are and how they are worded.

MOO
According to attorney, JFD is voluntary missing. Guess they are waiting for her to make a medical decision.

IMO an Atty. P. speciality and designed to say absolutely nothing.

The last official word was 'critical condition' which does have context and definition IMO.

So what’s the big secret. Is he dead or not? Crying wolf again.

Can you cite your source for how much this will cost?
I doubt anyone in MSM is keeping a running total of the exact cost of his medical care, cost of investigation into his wife's disappearance, costs of caring for his children, etc., etc. JMO.

Good to know AP article is outdated.

I saw on FB someone claiming that LE found the note in FD's back pocket. Haven't seen this published anywhere, has anyone else heard similar?
No, but could be that note claiming his innocence.

Would make sense he would place this readily available on him.

Can't find anything else, but the article is 3 minutes old!
Which article? The only one that's been linked from AP is from Tuesday. Can you link what you're referring to?

So he’s less than dead. I swear this is starting to sound like the dead parrot sketch from Monty Python!
Lol I was just about to say the same thing. FD hasn't shuffled off his mortal coil yet. Moo.

Yes, the Associated Press info posted above was from the other day when there was great confusion on the subject and is NOT CURRENT. The Press seem to be gathered waiting for news but there is nothing being reported now that I can find.

Here is some info on what the official hospital classifications mean:
What do "stable," "critical," and other medical conditions mean?

Critical: Vital signs are unstable and not within normal limits. Patient may be unconscious. Indicators are unfavorable.

The term “vital signs” means indicators such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. The one-word descriptions are not medical terms, and they are more art than science. They’re based on a doctor’s best judgment of a patient’s condition, as relayed to hospital spokespersons.

The AHA’s “General Guide” adds: “‘Stable’ should not be used as a condition. Furthermore, this term should not be used in combination with other conditions, which by definition often indicate a patient is unstable.” (As one hospital spokesman put it, “You can be dead and be stable.”)

Apparently, you can be dead and unstable, too. Fotis is a case in point.

So if the search warrant is sealed and there is a gag order, who opened their mouth and told whomever that there was a suicide note in which FD claimed his innocence?
