IMO, the removal of JFd's clothing was something "extra" that required time and increased risk of exposure for the murderer of leaving even more fingerprints and particles on the body, clothes, knife. So it must have been necessary. But for what purpose? I think the answer to this question, whether there was a purpose to removing cut clothes or cutting the clothes off the body related to the logistical disposal of evidence in a clinical way or whether there was an uncontrolled impulse to do something else is the "secret impulse" that is keeping MT's mouth sealed shut when all logic points to spilling all and getting a deal while Attorney Bowman was still around to finesse it. I don't think a body was necessary for MT to get years shaven off her sentence, merely admitting to what she knew and a timeline would have been enough, IMO.
For some reason, I don't get the sense of any type of romantic heat between Fd and MT, for all the apparent sex in the shower alibi writing. Sex in the shower was not uppermost on Fd's mind that day. The sexual impulses on display appeared to relate to one's desire to punish one's spouse (KM's alleged rape of his ex; Fd's offer of his house as a sex pad for KM and his ex). I can't conclude on the mindset - I just know with AC in the background, MT's wishful thinking in hindsight. MOO.
Since we are listing evidence, aside from SW's with two bloody footprints, Converse sneakers and a Subway receipt (perhaps from a park n ride in Tolland with, a super big and shiny Subway shop) near where MT had a fender bender in a Black Suburban spotted behind JFd's house in New Canaan, a spot with a perfect view of the picnic on May 22...let's check the AW.
Here are some excerpts from AW#3 that may or may not be pertinent in determining the extent of MT's participation:
