Now, that MT has an interpretor and a new Attorney that believes she didn't understand the questions that LE asked her. Would the LE have to question her again, but with an interpretor?

I guess we will have to see how this will play out with the interpretor going forward.

Atty Bowman asked MT about translation assistance as did the Judge in her first AW1 Court Appearance. All assistance was declined.

Now we have the New Atty and I'm wondering just how all this will shake out with MT prior statements made in English?

Seems like a tricky and slippery road here IMO.

My guess is based on moves so far will be to seek to have prior statements in English by MT not favourable to MT defense tossed out and those that are favourable to remain.

Its all quite ridiculous IMO and I do wonder if he thought it through and the consequences of over 8 months of activity in Court on the case too?

Atty Bowman might be many things but IMO he is meticulous and he must have been shocked at the ongoing MT lying and perhaps then might have attributed it to language and so asked about translation assistance. But, MT declined.

I don't know, I'm just not sure if I remember much about that morning and I had a rough night at the party the night before as we had tons of shots and such fun party drugs too. Have you ever heard of E? WOWee! We partied like we were in the best Miami Clubs. Do you know I used to work in Miami clubs? Yes, I know lots about Miami and Miami Clubs and drugs, I know lots about those too and I told Fotis about all these drugs and we always had such fun times.

But I do know if I drive my daughter to school that I have to do my hair and look nice as the moms at EW are so competitive and I don't want my daughter to be embarrassed of me and my frizzy hair and beat up sweats. Wait, I had straight hair on May 24, 2019 so I wonder if that meant that I did take my daughter to school? I don't know, this is all so confusing to me, maybe the hair was straight due to the party the night before. Maybe I take a fun shower with Fotis too as we love fun showers? IDK, but I'm not sure Fotis would approve of me eating granola and berries as there are way too many calories in that. So, no I'm not sure I ate breakfast at all as I only eat 500 calories a day and only what Fotis says is OK too. I'm always kinda hungry for some reason and I usually don't know where my daughter is either but I do know she doesn't take the bus as she says that would be embarrassing. I'm not even sure if it was a school day either? DO you know?

My mom was there too on the May 24th and so maybe she woke up early to take my daughter to school. Mom do you remember if you took my daughter to school?

Omg....that's hilarious and frightening! Could attorney Bowman be called by the prosecution to testify to whether MT understood that she was asked if she needed an interpreter? Could judge allow her interview answers to stand? The idea that she's pulling this shi* really boils my blood.

Along the way of travelling via car from CT to CA the perps dispose of evidence in each of the states they travel through on their trip. Michelle Troconis' Lawyer Argues She May Not Have Understood Police Because Of Language Barrier

The press coverage of the translation issue continues.

I almost wish that MT could be given some kind of objective (I realise this is now impossible but I can still dream!) test to ascertain her language skills (written and oral) in both english and spanish.

Having read some of her social media posts in Spanish and listened to her interviewed in Spanish (she was interviewed about her 'job' at the Argentinian ski resort owned by daughter biodad family), I have to say that while she did seem slightly more relaxed in Spanish IMO, she didn't demonstrate much in the way of vocabulary beyond middle school level IMO. She was easy to understand but demonstrated no complex thinking IMO in the interview. I believe that she has now spent more time in the US than she did in SA too.
