I can’t wait until January 8th as it’ll be so interesting to hear MT’s defense, innocence???
I am quite interested in hearing her explanation of how she was conveniently there every step of the way before and after but allegedly had no clue. How does one not return police calls (they called her multiple times), if she is innocent, why didn’t she return their calls? She knew Jennifer and her children, wouldn’t she want to help in any way possible? Her social media and her family claims she is so religious and caring. Seems so unlike her to not want to help. If she is innocent, why did she write phony information on a prepared, hand written timeline in perfect English when she claims she doesn’t understand English? If innocent, why would she retort the same lies to police repeatedly and then subsequently change stories on several occasions when confronted with the truth? If she was innocent, then wouldn’t she have told the truth the first time?
I am also interested in finding out why she drove back-and-forth several times to and from a spec house bringing cleaning supplies, seeing FD clean car seats of a borrowed truck, then take part in a key shuffle that appears she was quite involved in. So strange that she didn’t find any of these activities suspicious enough to call the police? If innocent with nothing to hide then why try to file motion after motion to obstruct evidence, most notably not wanting her phone data in the trial? Wouldn’t she want the jury to see total transparency if nothing to hide?
FD’s cloud data from his phone and computers will be revealing I think and I am anxious to see the texts exchanged with her that they thought were deleted but recovered by analytics, I am hoping. Also, KM’s phone data, too!
Why would she drive with FD all the way to Hartford to dump trash in several receptacles since there was a large dumpster for them to use at the spec house yet claims she had no idea. Why did she not find it concerning that he stuffed a FedEx box in a storm drain or propped a Weathertech mat from a Suburban up again a restaurant, Milagros’wall. How do you explain the car mat as that is not something you could justify disposing of from a spec house. Talking on the phone to your friend is not enough of a defense in my opinion. It is astounding to think that she may think that anyone would buy that she is that clueless! Why multiple stops? Did she not find that suspicious in the least? Did she not find it odd that FD was wearing gloves as you can see in the footage? Will she say she didn’t notice
Then she followed him in a separate car to get PG’s truck detailed etc. watched while he withdrew cash to pay for it. That was obviously planned. Was that not suspicious either? Cash? Not wanting a record for a business expense? Not using the company cc that was used for all of his other expenses!
MT had ample opportunities to tell the truth after FD committed suicide so she, in my option, cannot claim she was afraid. There luckily was another person involved that I hope will shed a little light on her involvement and I’m confident KM’s testimony will be worth the wait. Since he’s an attorney, I’m hoping he kept some damning evidence in the event he needed it.
All good points, but do we have it on anyone other than MT’s word that she was truly driving back and forth from 4JC to the spec house at 80 MS Rd with cleaning supplies in those critical hours after JFD was killed?
i ask because, IMO, MT cannot verify with independent evidence her claims about her whereabouts during the hours from 11 am (when she visited her friend Petu to say goodbye, assuming LE verified that claim) and when she was seen on surveillance at 1:36 pm driving the white Jeep into the driveway at 80 MS Rd followed by FD driving his black Suburban. They arrive in tandem, suggesting they are traveling together from somewhere, and LE does not say their direction of travel as they arrive at 80 MS Rd in the Arrest Affidavit (although LE does specify direction of travel most other times). So, are they arriving from the direction of 4JC or from another direction? Is FD in his black Suburban arriving from 4JC, or is it arriving from New Canaan with some intermediate stop between? And, did MT meet with him at such an intermediate stop? (Instead of “going to the waterski pond but no one was there to pull me” at 11:30, and “at home” from noon to 3 pm, and “lunch with Fotis” from noon to 1 pm as the activity page of the alibi script claims…she didn't have herself taking anything to 80 MS Rd until 3:30 on that log…likely unaware that surveillance put her there nearly two hours earlier, at 1:36 pm.)
That last bag of evidence dumped at Albany Ave/Green St contained multiple items described in the AA (JFD’s t-shirt worn her last day, her bra, multiple torn open bags that had been taped - including two that had been taped together, two rain ponchos, cut zip ties, and various other items with JFD blood and DNA, FD DNA, and MT DNA). One intact garbage bag contains various other no longer intact garbage bags and some of the clothing and the zip ties that bound JFD’s body.
What story does that tell? Think about it. The taped together bag containing JFD was opened, the zip ties binding her were cut, and at least some of JFD’s clothes were separated from her body and all those things were then put into a new bag - without JFD’s body (which to date has not been found). And MT was there when the unwrapping was done.
Where was MT from 11 am until 1:36 pm? Because I don’t believe her own uncorroborated claims.
Love the details here! The only thing I can think of is the neighbor’s camera which captured FD getting the mail could also have captured her trips or lack of trips to and from JC to MS.
