MOOMOOMOOMOO

Didja notice that JS tried to sell a story of his own? That the defendant never saw FD awaken because she was in bed with her daughter, comforting her from the thunder? After we'd just heard the defendant say that she left her daughter and went to the bedroom where she saw FD, awake, that he joined her in the shower. Sheesh. JS needs to talk less and listen more.

And me? I have a real dilemma. If I hear one more time about the sexy time shower, I don't know what to do. I feel dirty. But I can't shower it off because MT + FD = shower. *shudder*

Truth: they probably did shower together that day, after they removed their bloody ponchos.

Ghastly human being.

The issue of defence counsel testifying on behalf of a client that he cannot put on the stand imo has to be shut down by the Judge and objected to more by state. It’s insidious and is tainting this trial imo.

State pauses for witness to explain what he was showing the defendant. Full size stills from CCTV.

Defendant describes wiping chewing gum off her finger. She asks about 30 stops, whether that includes red lights, traffic stops. She says she wasn't paying attention, was on her phone.

Officer asks if she found it odd FD was driving around that area.

Went to Starbucks. Ordered a tea, a chocolate croissant and a ham (turkey) sandwich.

[Officers try to nail down movements of FD and MT and PG. Such a confusing jumble from the defendant.]

Does anyone recall if there was active security camera at 4jx during the period of the murder? My memory is that as expected it wasn’t in operation. But I am not sure I am correct.

The “ball game” going on with the MT and the cars is insane. She brings in extraneous details designed to confuse and distract. She understands the questions but chooses the long winding road always.

Right. Between the unopposed testifying on social media, and her lawyer speaking on her behalf, this isn’t right. If she wants to testify, he ought to put her on the stand, under oath, and let her be questioned.

Is it just me, or is she sporting a bit of an attitude in this interview?

Officer asks her about Jennifer and Fotis' relationship. Says she only saw her one time a year prior.

She says FD has supervised visitation.

Defendant jumps from describing that day to remembering she went to the ski club on May 24th.

Officers show her the photo again. They ask her what Fotis was throwing in the trash.

Now they tell her they know she's not being honest.

Officer shows her a photo of clothes and towel recovered from that trash can. Jennifer's blood.

State pauses video. Asks the detective if thst was a ruse. As the pillow was never recovered. Yes.

Lunch break until 2pm.

As it goes on, yes. She's clearly frustrated.

Well said but he knows he can’t do it.

Judge R doesn’t have his eye on this ball imo!

Some questions hard to hear due to the very loud coughing
Why am I now reminded from all of the apparent ‘on record’ coughing - of the early in-car police interview with Alex Murdaugh? Where the attorney in the back seat I believe it was kept coughing, almost seeming as a cue for Mr. Murdaugh and his responses? Perhaps to disrupt or affect the questioning cadence. Wonder if something similar might be happening here?
And thank you in court reporters and team……!!!!! So I can avoid the coughing, gum smacking, and defense objections. Y’all rule! :)
PS - ETA - and thank you so that I don’t have to view Cousin It either! Thx!

Does anyone understand how EW School can be afforded on $4,000/month child support? Day student rate is close to $40,000 year back then. I have questions….likely that JF was paying for 6 children to be in private school. MOO

Fotis drove them in the Raptor to West Hartford. Officers ask where they went. To Starbucks, that was the plan.

Usually she went to a closer Starbucks.

She describes at least one garbage bag into a dumpster. FD was driving around. She describes turning around. Didn't make sense to her. Twenty minutes.

Officer addresses her attorney, tells him there were 30 stops....

State pauses. Asks the witness if 30 stops was accurate. No. Was it a ruse? No, it was information witness had that was later determined to be incorrect.

Was MT asked when the trash bags were placed in the back of the Raptor? They were taking quite a heap of black-bagged trash. Sure. She thought they were going for latte.

Did she know when she left with Fotis that they'd be driving to Hartford for the purpose of disposing of CS evidence? She says she thought they were going to Starbucks? Is the Starbucks in Hartford the closest one or simply the location they preferred visiting? TIA

I just checked and financial aid and payment plans are available. Since it would be based solely on MT's income, not sure how much she would qualify for, but $4,000/month isn't far off from the normal price.

I have been in & out all morning. Much thanks to @Megnut and all others that have been posting in what is so difficult to understand in this bad audio and all the extra fillers that MT is injecting into this interview.

It's not the closest, she even mentions that there is a closer one in Farmington. Not sure if she gave a reason as to WHY they went to the West Hartford one instead.

$4,000 was amt mt got for support each month total from baby daddy. Idk if daughter was in ct full time as she was supposedly half year in ct and half time in Argentina. Even so, factor in riding, year round ski coaching and conditioning and other activities etc. and idk how mt afforded her child without cash from FD or a profitable rug business.
