Ding, ding, ding. Big lie #3. She claims she saw FD in the office at 8:15 am.

(The prearranged call from AT came in at 8:24 am.)

MT: Fotis only has 2 pairs of jeans (?)

The zip ties MT says FD uses in relation to some of the waterski equipment. She's asked if they are long and she says "yes."

Defendant is insisting she saw FD thst morning when the alarm went off and again at 8:15 at his office table.

She said from 9 to 11:30 she was in and out and there's a lot of proof.

Claims she saw him again at 1 or 2.

Asked her if he had the same clothes on.

In the morning she saw him naked.

Defendant says he only has two pair of jeans. Blue. Blue and black. Says he didn't change his jeans.

They ask her about zipties. She says they have them for their waterskis.

Interesting to add that!

She is describing Deercliff. Falling apart.

There's a tree there she wanted FD to bring to 4J.

She says he's selling it.

She says there's no work being done there.

She explains how the company started with Fotis and his sister. FO for Fotis, RE for Rena.

Now she's talking about the Porsche and the accident.

We've seen pictures of the his closet. That wasn't true either imo.

Officer brings her back to getting back to the house. At noon. But also between 1 and 2.

They ask about the Suburban. She saw the Suburban. They ask about the Raptor. She didn't know.

Now they're asking her about the basement at 4J. Asking about a refrigerator.

She describes a playroom, two staircases, a library, a wine cellar, a small room, a storage room, an elevator, a media room....

Officer asks if she noticed the bags in the back of the Raptor when she got it. Was there a smell? Did they seem heavy?

Defendant is talking about when the police came. Defendant said she panicked.
Fotis told her Jennifer was missing. Asked if she was dead, if she was missing, if she took the kids.

They went to pick up the daughter at school at 9:15.

Fotis was calling people.

Police kept calling her.
She was stressed.
Jacob told her not to answer her phone.

Officer asks her why FD contacted LA. She said he was worried about the children.

She is relating that Fotis went to New Canaan in the Suburban to get the children but LA was told by the police not to bring them.

Asking her of she received a voice-mail from the police. Asking her about phones Fotis had.

Now they're asking her what time he called Fotis called her to bring cleaning supplies.

Sounds like FD might have been afraid MT was going to flee and insisted on going for the 9:15 pm pickup of MT daughter.

Another decision point for MT and yet she stays.
MOO

After LE left the interview room to give everyone a short break, LE started to talk to her attorney. He pointed to the camera and said, "we can't talk because the cameras are still active." She repeatedly tried to talk to attorney Bowman and he said, "don't talk."

She clearly wanted some relief by talking to someone she viewed as an advocate. But, that was going to have to wait.

State pauses video to ask officer about surveillance video at 80 MS. He testifies that that information came after this interview.

They're showing her the location data from FD's phone. Showing her a map of 80 MS. They ask her why FD would be walking around a particular area of 80 MS.

Asking her where FD would take Jennifer or parts of Jennifer.

She says/asks Jennifer is dead. You said she was dead because of the blood.

They tell her thst they believe Jennifer was in the back of the truck.

She reacts strongly.

Officers take a break.

Alone with her attorney. She tries to talk, whisper but he tells her not to talk because they're still being recorded.

Not a fan of the Daily Mail, but is it an approved source? Glad to delete.

Good grief no plea was a bad decision, IMO

Pytranker, atty, supposedly gave FD a new phone according to what she is saying.
Phone situation makes little sense imo.

Yes, its approved and actually for crime reporting they get it right more often than wrong imo.

Interview resumes.

Officers say they're very fair, they don't want her to go down for something FD did.

They say she's very detailed about some things. They want her to tell them about cleaning at 80 MS. She says she's cleaned before. Six times. There's going to be an open house.

They ask about storage units. She says he has two but got rid of one. The one she saw had furniture, chairs. It was packed.

They ask her about tools, if he had them in the storage unit.

Now they are asking her about the bags. She says she didn't know what was in them, thought it was construction stuff.

Now asked her what was in the FedEx envelope and if she thought it was strange.

They are pointing out the discrepancies in her answers.

Officers asked her if Fotis coached her.

Defendant says Fotis told her to stay strong, this will be over.

She says this is the last thing she wanted in her life.

State pauses video. Asking witness to open evidence envelope. Asked specifically about the search of 4J.

Three sheets of paper, photocopies of a timeline.

State asks when they are found -- 6/3. Stare asks if they were aware of them on 6/2 during the interview. No.

Next witness describes a two-sided timeline. Did you know about this when you were interviewing the defendant on 6/2? No

Afternoon recess
