Now we're seeing a map of the motor cross path. MDC (metro district commission), reservoir system.

She offered to walk with her attorney and detectives, didn't she? Yes

She said she needed other shoes, didn't she? And she said it would be hard with her ankle bracelet? Yes. But she did anyway? And she said she would go anywhere anytime.

Did she ever say no, I want to stop, can I be done? No

Was it warm in there (the conference room)? Yes. Do you remember Atty Bowman saying it was hot? Yes and you remember MT saying she was dizzy? I don't recall that.
Sush a mischaracterization iirc... MT was literally in a blanket and was saying she was dizzy because of the shock. I remember the blanket because I thought it was odd given the fact that the detectives were talking about how warm the room gets.

MOO

Atty JS testified that FD gave the bunny to his wife. Wife? Like what? A hostess gift? Peace offering? Late Valentine's Day gift? If FD gave JFd a chocolate bunny, I am pretty sure JFd would not have so much as licked that bunny. She was afraid of him. And rightly so.

He offered a piece of a bunny since he remembered how much JFD loved chocolate iirc. As someone with an ex who reminds me way too much of FD, I would've politely refused and if they insisted, not eat it and get it out of my hands ASAP. That being said, if she was intimidated by him and trying to maintain the peace, she could've just put on airs of taking it, nibbling at it, etc, as not to create an issue with him.

Cross resumes

JS asks about telling MT others were involved? Yes

Did that include PG, Andreas, Mark...

Did MT say she believed FD was in the office because he was usually the office? Yes. But she's wasn't 100% sure? Yes, she hedged her answer.

You were at the house? Yes. And it's very large? Yes.

The sort of house where a child might call her mother --

Overruled. Sustained.

Did she told you the power went out?

  • #565
She told you it was a normal day? Yes.

Abd you checked out her movements? The market? Yes

  • #566
Asking about the timelines

She told you the writing wasn't hers? Yes. And that it was her handwriting on the other.

She told you she overheard Jacob tell FD to make a tineline for the 22nd, yes

And FD told her to make a timeline for May 24th, yes.

And PG should make a timeline.

AMEN! Counsel is testifying. Glad Judge R is calling this out but the sad thing was it went on for nearly 5 minutes!

JS: I'll withdraw my question.

Judge: There was no question, you were testifying.

JS is showing the photocopied phone log that was found on 6/3 in the computer bag at 4J.

Lists N. At 12:59. 16 seconds Thunderstorm

And you see a call to Barbara? Rugs

JS mentions Bruha, which means witch.

Objection, Counsel is testifying.

JS say he'll withdraw the question-- Judge says there was no question. Counsel is testifying.

Wonder who "Bruja" might be in MT call log?
First three guesses don't count.....

"trying to maintain the peace"

This. FD was purposely crossing boundaries in front of the children - with this sharing of the chocolate bunny, showing up an hour early for visitation on May 22, and then returning to 69 Welles Ln to have his visitation there when the park they had planned to go to was closing.

And he was doing it in front of the children because he knew that JFD would be less inclined to insist upon imposing boundaries as she wanted the children's lives to be as normal as possible (ETA: i.e., she didn't want them to witness the conflict between FD and herself).

"It's got a French name, something I can never remember, Porchse de something."

It's Latin/Italian and it's portico. Is part of JS' strategy to not look up words he plans to use? Even if he's heard them before and spoken them?

Now JS is asking about the evening of the 24th, if MT told you she'd returned about 8:30 after FD was throwing trash away? Yes

Did she tell you about other activities that day? Yes.
To her friend Petu's? Yes
To Barbara's, no I don't believe she went there.
Talked to her? Yes
And to the market? Yes

Now asking about when she got home after her errands, she saw the Suburban? Yes

And that FD could be in the office but couldn't guarantee it.

And that she had lunch in the 1 o'clock neighborhood? Yes

He is just a "plain simple country lawyer and not from the city"....
Ignorance imo is just that no matter where you are from imo!

JAS: "Didn't she correct herself?" (When she had first claimed she saw FD and Kent together in the office.)

Det. Kimball: "Changed her story, yes." (To she saw Kent alone in the office.)
Love Det Kimball's response to JS stating that didn't MT "corrected herself." Kimball says, yes, she "changed her story."

Lol, "changing her story" is different than "correcting herself."

Kimball also got in "hedging." Which is also different than "correcting herself."

Now he's asking about 80 MS, MT bringing cleaning supplies

And you were aware there was an open house? Yes

And the P's who were buying 88 MS wanted to tour 80 MS?

And she said she'd cleaned with FD before? And it was dusty in there? Yes

And she told large black trash bags, a dust mop (swiffer), other cleaning material, Clorox....

And your detectives had spoken to PG? Yes

Objection, hearsay, bootstrapping for the truth

Sustained, bc it was offered for the truth

And you were aware that trash pullbwas Friday at 4J? Yes. Do you know if there was a trash pull at 80 MS?

Objection overruled

Objection, outside the scope

Court does not recall "trash pull" in the video but no question to MT. Sustained.

Can you tell me what a trash pull is?

Objection, sustained

Careful, JAS. You're irritating Judge Randolph. (The rest of us were there a long time ago.)

  • #579
Except for the little trip down Albany Ave?
Seriously?

  • #580
Dang. The surveillance from the neighbor across the street from 80 MS Rd was not clear enough to see who was driving vehicles arriving at/departing from 80 MS Rd.
