I have no idea why Judge is allowing "TESTIMONY ON CROSS"....

JAS admits his mistake about the weather map he presented in Court (he presented a map with Central time rather than Eastern). Apologizes, presents new map with Eastern time (from WeatherUS, a different weather map supplier than the one he'd provided before, which was Weather Underground).

JS presents a new weather map, eastern time, 11:59am.

Map shows line of red (heavy) storms at the Connecticut border.

Witness used weather underground, for 12:59. JS is pressing him on his selected airport.

FYI - Brainard airport is 8 miles from 4JC, Bradley airport is 14 miles as the crow flies. Soooooooooo, once again, JS is wrong and misrepresenting geography.

Witness concedes there was a spike in weather/storms in the hour before 12;59.

Is that the sort of thing that night fifteen a 12 year old child?

JS is asking the witness about phone records, GPS data, surveillance. And interviews. Obtained some DNA and lab reports.

JS: did you share all the information with MT? No.

Asked if later they learned their earlier information was incorrect, yes

Asked about lying and rules abd strategy.

JS established that MT was held in jail overnight.

Question I had earlier in the car this morning... Defense would obviously know if KM taking the stand for the state is a possibility, but they aren't privy to what he would possibly say up there in advance, yes?

He's asking Det. Kimball if he said "you said that FD was in New Canaan that morning."

But, IIRC, it was Officer Clabby that said that.

JS asks about the 30 stops? Did you know? Swore under oath? But later corrected it.

JS asks witness if he recalls telling MT that they KNEW FD was NC that morning? Based on science...

Detective Klabbe (sp) used the word science, not the witness.

JS asks if this science was the DNA on the faucet.

Were there fingerprints? No.

JS asks if MT was trying to explain herself but you kept interrupting her --

Do you remember -- MT saying she didn't know about the license plates and you or Klabbe said it wasn't relevant?

Was it part of your training to have more than one officer asking questions one after another at a single person?

Witness concedes that's not the best way to interview.

JS is asking about tekking MT they had proof FD was in NC -- the faucet.

Did you know it was only a minor contributor?

No, I just knew there were two contributors.

Did you know that there was eating? Yes, outside. Asks about interaction between JFd and FD.

Witness says, yes, they believed MT knew more than she was saying.

Did she tell you six times -- that she didn't know FD had been at JFd's house? Yes

Did she offer to help search? Yes. Did she say she would dig, she search? Did she provide you with maps?

JS shows MT's drawing, her map of the properties near 4J

Now JAS repeating MT's lies. Asking why, even though she told LE these things she was saying (that she "didn't know"), they kept asking her.

She said she would help you, isn't that right? "Yes."
She said she would help you search? "Yes."
She said she would help you dig holes? "Yes."

Now showing the drawing that MT brought with her to the interview. Hand drawn map is of ForeGroup related properties in Farmington area (Jefferson Crossing, Old Mountain Rd, Mountain Springs Rd).

Also showing hand drawn map MT provided officers of the nature trail/reservoir area behind 4 Jefferson Crossing and beyond (Metropolitan District Commission property), where MT and FD drove their motocross motorcycles.

JAS repeats that MT offered to walk these areas with officers.

I’m just beginning to get back into this after having followed closely for a long while from when JF first went missing until (and somewhat after) FD was found in his garage on the day he was likely going to be sent back to jail. So tragic for JF’s children, family & friends. And so cowardly of FD. I know this has probably been covered extensively (I’m sure it was and I’ve forgotten) but… wasn’t there a security camera at JF’s driveway? Is there any video of JF arriving home after dropping the kids off at school (did all 5 attend the same school?). Did she park inside, in the left garage bay? Was there video of the suburban leaving the garage later? I know that there is video camera footage of FD riding his distinctive bike towards JF’s home early that morning. No video footage of him riding up the driveway or through the yard? No video footage of him there at all? How did he get in the garage? Did he follow her in or was he lying in wait inside? This is a nightmare to even wonder about. TIA.

Video shown of JF returning from school drop off and her Suburban leaving around 10:25 am iirc. All 5 children attended NCCS. Suburban left in garage in left bay. We haven't seen footage of person on bike yet or any of the other video you are looking for. Trial is off to a very SLOW start and we have many weeks to go given this pace imo. It appears FD was lying in wait inside garage and JF was tragically attacked between the two cars in the garage. MOO
