So based on the cashier video section, this is my guess: Friday night around 8pm would be a skeleton crew. That location doesn't have a drive thru, so my guess would be 2 people working, 3 tops. You see one person ring them out, and another came to check the drawer I believe. The latter is likely the shift lead at the time and probably closing out any tills/drawers they can, meaning the other one person is probably ringing people out AND making drinks. There's also the weekly delivery of milk and supplies coming in at the same time, so a lot of the standing around is probably explained by one person dealing with all of the customers.

What screams at me is the WAY they are waiting. I would 100% be eyeing them if they were on the other side of the counter. The constant movement from FD and the tense body language from MT is a bunch of red flags. Not necessarily that they just dumped a bunch of evidence in trash cans, but that SOMETHING is wrong there.

Wondering if it is normal for the States Attorney to go into an interview of a suspect? As much as I dislike JS, he now has me questioning if that’s normal. Anyone know?

Given that the testimony of PG and discussion of the Red Tacoma appears imminent, I wanted to put up a brief X post from NBC CT, Shannon Miller who chose it seems to simply "REPOST" some commentary of the Troconis Crew on PG (this is just a tidbit on the topic so feel free to search social media to see the rest) with zero context and absolutely no attempt to obtain a response from CSP or CT States Attorney Office or conducting any independent research. This same 'reposter' has repeatedly simply posted the comments of TP in this case, again with no context or research or perspective offered up. I do very much wonder whether there is a financial deal in place between TP and NBC CT for their 'exclusive' content provided to the network? Perhaps NBC CT and Shannon Miller might at some point explain if any financial incentives (direct or indirect) are in place?

This is just one example from chronic "reposter" Shannon Miller of NBC CT of what has been going on now for four years as the Troconis Crew and TP have had 'free access' to public airwaves, social media and local press media with virtually no investigation as to the veracity of their statements and NO COMMENT from the State. Its effectively been a one way misinformation campaign that imo was allowed by the various media outlets in the State and Shannon Miller NBC CT has imo effectively set itself up as the official mouthpiece for TP and the Troconis Clan and my strong guess is that there is most likely money on the table for 'exclusive' interviews.

Judge R has chosen to take a blind eye to the issue of the impact of the imo poor (lack of) reporting and unrestrained commentary of TP in this case and any potential impact on the jury pool for this trial as well as on the ability of any member of the public attempting to watch the trial and understand fully what is going on.

There has been no gag order in this case and imo given that there is zero communication coming from the State, there has just been a one way flow of information to the public with no investigation or questioning by the Media and certainly imo NEVER Shannon Miller, NBC CT.

IMO these comments from the Troconis Crew and TP ALL constitute misinformation and I strongly disagree with no gag order in this case. The States communication since Day 1 of this tragic case has imo been horrendous and an absolute disservice to the VICTIM and the Victims family. But, if the State has the policy of choosing NOT to speak then why not simply issue a motion for a gag to prevent what has been going on from continuing?

Shannon Miller, NBC CT made this series of posts on the topic of a Family Statement with no context such that anyone seeking to understand the overall situation would be remotely able to evaluate the comment from the Troconis Crew about PG. Without getting into the nitty gritty of defamation, libel and slander, I hope that PG and his attorney evaluate these ongoing statements by the Troconis Crew and their release by NBC CT Shannon Miller quite carefully and respond accordingly.

Just wanted to put this out there so others can see that the Troconis Crew due imo to the imo overall ineptitude of employees such as NBC CT Shannon Miller can simply place statements for public consumption with any responsibility as to what is being posted to the public.

The TP comments and the ongoing Courthouse step commentary (always surprisingly captured by NBC CT) frankly aren't that different from the Troconis Crew statements imo. I would love to 'fact check' TP along with his statements made in trial but there are simply not enough hours in the day to do so. Its disappointing that Judge R has chosen to not hold TP to account for misleading, perhaps false or misinformation during the course of his representation of MT. Then I realize that this is Connecticut and this is simply sadly par for the course.

I am no authority but I'd say it's atypical for a DA to sit in on an interview. I think this was a rapidly developing investigation and the DA was anticipating filing murder charges against FD and expected the defendant to want to distance herself once the proverbial wall writing hit her.

I think everybody overestimated her sense of motherhood, loyalty to her daughter, etc.

Did that look like the body language of a 'happy couple'? FD was pacing around like a caged animal and MT had her arms across her chest in a defensive posture. All I can say is "NO BUENO"...all is not well in paradise imo which gets me back to the MT Law Enforcement interviews we have seen so far where we see MT supporting the non alibi scrips and FD. I'm not sure what TP was talking about today with MT being cooperative with LE efforts to solve the case. It seems like a very low bar on any level to equate "cooperation" with "showing up"!

My guess is that the Jury will correctly just view the MT testimony as ongoing tampering and hindering as I don't have any other words to explain it.

It is not unusual for LE or States atty's or other govt agencies to view interviews either directly or indirectly. My guess is that couldn't be done in this setting as iirc it was Atty Bowmans office in Westport.

I understand perhaps why Colangelo was at that particular meeting. If someone is going to make an offer of plea or some kind of immunity agreement it seems to me that it makes sense to listen yourself and view the individual with your own eyes and ears. Sure you listen to the experienced voices around you but ultimately the decision is in your hands (and whatever hierarchy he works with in Hartford).

Trying to make a deal with MT would have been a big/huge/risky decision for the State at that time and I understand why someone charged with making that decision would want to be present and not fully rely on the opinions of others.

Also think about it maybe from Colangelo's perspective that MT to date in any of her interviews hadn't provided any substantive assistance to the State and had changed her stories on any number of issues more than a few times. I see a States Atty trying to make a strategic decision in a case with an individual who seems 'unreliable' at best and a 'liar' at worst. My sense is that his statement about her not knowing anything really meant that she was never going to share anything of value ever and would continue to stick to some variant of non alibi scripts until her dying day. This view played out and MT never did assist the case and Colangelo walked away.

I do wonder who of the many folks here who sat through the MT testimony in the 2 interviews that we have seen and would have been comfortable offering some kind of deal? MT never offered anything and never said anything of value and as someone said so well here the other day, "MT lied about the lies". My sense is Colangelo saw this and simply left that meeting and never thought again about MT and how she wasted so much time and taxpayer daughter with her many lies and lies about lies, but you notice that the hindering and tampering charges were never dropped and there was no change to the top charge of Conspiracy either.
