I wonder why they would go to Irwin Park. If they found her there and her car at the Waveny Park then there may be two people involved, one to drive the car over to the park and someone to pick the driver up. Also, there is a large body of water just to the west ( I think), could she be there?

After focusing their search for Jennifer Dulos in the sprawling Waveny Park for nearly two days, police returned to her Welles Lane neighborhood on Thursday afternoon and also began searching Irwin Park on Weed Street.

Very interesting article, thanks for posting. Does anyone know anything about the Pound Ridge, NY house mentioned in the article? Did the STBX live or stay there when working in the area or visiting kids? Pure speculation on my part. One of the first articles said that originally JD was going to move to Pound Ridge, NY vs New Canaan, CT (towns are next to each other but one is in NY and other is in CT). Curious if JD family owned the house in Pound Ridge or if its owned by STBX or his company?

The house in pound ridge is her moms house. He demanded to be able to stay in the guest house whenever he wanted in order to be near the kids. Judge shot that down as far as I remember.

A life insurance policy could have been taken out during happier times and may not have anything to do with her parents. All that would have been needed was someone to keep paying the premiums...just my musings.

I think she’d know to cancel the policy or change the beneficiaries considering how financially savvy the family seems. My husband went thru a messy divorce involving a high income, and trust me, changing his life insurance beneficiary was one of the first things he did. I wouldn’t be surprised if she did the same. Their estate attorney would definitely make sure of it.

I am following this story from Ohio, and I cant stop thinking about her and her children. I fear the worst, he killed her, everything I know, having been married to a narcissist for 18 years and knowing how difficult divorcing one is, tells me she is dead at his hands. Her closest friends and family know exactly what I mean when I say she was scared he would harm her, even though he likely never laid a hand on her, she didnt feel safe, she had a plan in place for a long time before she finally left him, the day came 2 yrs ago when she knew she couldn't spend one more night under the same roof with him. The last 2 yrs have been a nightmare, Judges that dont understand what divorcing a narcissist entails and attorneys that drag out hearings so they can bill, bill, bill.....

Wow. And as we know, (generally) the only people who clean crime scenes, are those close to the victim.

It makes sense. She may have returned home, been attacked, and her vehicle and body dumped afterwards.

Yup. That's the scenario that's playing out in my mind's eye.

Vehicle dumped in an attempt to cast suspicion away from the obvious suspect.

Yeah. The idea that she was intercepted while driving makes a lot less sense than this alternative.

Someone probably knew her schedule, and had access to that house.

CCTV footage will be key here, as it appears that this all happened during daylight.

I wonder if he had help in disposing of her body, thus keeping blood out of her car and his. Also, someone else to take her car to the park or if not that, then someone to pick him up after he dropped it off.

Seems like the type of guy to hire a hitman. A lot of money seems to be floating around.

I've considered that myself. It happened in my area, also with a very wealthy couple.

This is horrendous, I can't believe this awful man would even bring in a mistress to live with them. He's truly an entitled monster who thinks he's due everything he wants, one way or the other. And even borrows millions from her parents, and keeps it because he can, and forces his own children to become expert water-skiers because that's what HE wants.

I very much hope authorities nail this creep.
I feel so sorry for what Jennifer Dulos had to deal with, and especially for their children who most likely have lost their loving mother.
