@otto so glad to see you have joined the case!!! We had questions about what info could be gained from the GPS in the Suburban that JD was driving and that was found parked near Waveny Park. Similar to the DNV case the Suburban seems to come standard with OnStar but we weren't sure about any other GPS tracking that might come in the Suburban. In my experience the Suburban can have many bells and whistles depending on the trim package chosen and I couldn't figure out which model she had of the available trim packages for the 2017 model year.
I am guessing based on her lifestyle the trim package might be the highest level? JMO

I really don't know. I suppose so. But I doubt there is any construction going on in the city. Hartford, despite all the wonderful other towns near there, has been in decline for years.
Just trying to figure out if there is a connection between the bakery and the business. Perhaps it's just a random drop of evidence. Not sure.

Can't figure out the Hartford connection. Even coming from New Canaan to Farmington you don't pass through Hartford.

There are also a lot of people who have money and don't live that way or those who shelter their money into corporations and keep it separate from marital assets. If he can afford a summer in Greece and Spain and trips to Argentina (from article above) he's not broke or over extended - he's trying to keep it away from his STBX wife. MOO

Yes-These guys are only broke when it comes to divorce and splitting up the assets. I have known some men who have done exactly this (not friends of mine-I’d never have a friend who’d do this)

Jennifer Dulos investigation returns to New Canaan park
Something is compelling them back to the park IMO.
She disappeared last Friday, May 24 after dropping the children off (looking for drop off time) - missed an 11am appointment - so the drop off time and the 11am appt is the window IMO.
Yes, Police and Fire were at Waveny today and the pond was drained. I had always thought the pond was deep but it couldn't have been more than 4 ft deep.

CT state police searching dumpsters, Fire trucks flushing out sewers and helicopters searching the area. I pray they find something

From what I’m reading, they didn’t actually find anything at that location.

They did look at security footage though.

He could have done it himself and cleaned up the house but paid someone who works for him in construction to dispose of evidence and or her.
Or, a handy live-in girlfriend might have helped with clean up. IDK.

That is my feeling too, hitmen don't clean up crime scenes. Either he had the GF help or he hired/blackmailed someone into helping. JMO

The north end of Hartford, up Albany Avenue is not a place where FD would blend in. I honestly don't see how he could have done any of this himself even in the dead of night. I have friends there and it is never quiet and the streets are never empty expecially on the weekends.

I’m watching the news now
They are searching a house on Milford Street in Hartford
And looking at surveillance video for car

I see a connection in that his construction crews could be hired out of the north end of Hartford.

Is that near the bakery neighborhood?

Yes - that's sorta what I've been wondering.

Or, a place to throw the blame.

I
Yes, but now I am wondering where she went after the drop off of the kids last Friday - I believe this is the last confirmed sighting IIRC? If she went home, and he was there - and the found blood and other evidence has led police to think homicide, then what happened and where? I think it is possible she was knocked out and put inside a vehicle that was parked in the garage perhaps? People forget to change their garage door codes/openers and if he had access still - he could have pulled in closed the door and disabled it if she ordinarily parked inside. Then tackled her (we don't know where the blood was found yet) and put her in the vehicle and driven away. However, he would have had to return to move her car to the park. As we know, this is all in daylight and before 11am. That's a pretty tight window IMO. I think there was a specific plan.

I don’t think he ever lived at the New Canaan house so unless he got the garage door code from one of the children, he didn’t likely have it. I wonder how he could have gotten into that house without breaking in? It’s possible he had to break in or else maybe the oldest child had a key and he copied it. It’ll all likely come out, I think. Hopefully, soon.

You’ve stated exactly what I meant-sometimes fabulous wealth is a mirage (people buy stuff that they cannot pay for, just so that they look more successful than they really are)-and sometimes they just spend all of the money that they actually do have. I think what I would do right now (aside from grieving my obviously dead daughter) is put enormous pressure on FD for repayment of the money he owes. First, because you want to be at the beginning of the list of creditors since there is never enough money to go around when debts are paid, and second, because it’ll start to really turn up the volume on him so he screws up.
Completely agree. JD's mom sounds like she has a crackerjack legal team and they have had litigation on the issue of the loans for awhile now. I was concerned though when I read the Farmingdale house was going into foreclosure and I haven't had time to research whether there was a lender attached to the mortgage or not. My sad suspicion is that the money borrowed from all sources is long gone and/or hidden. The Argentina connection via the live-in GF is also troubling as its relatively easy to get a passport (fake or real) and moving cash into the country can be accomplished relatively easily via bribery, especially for euros and dollars. I hope the State team is pulling in the financial forensic experts to pull apart the situation as it most likely will be a complex web of corporations IMO that local police wouldn't be equipped to research.

GE Capital is out of Stamford. They moved to Norwalk. Their building is becoming senior housing in Stamford. There are only a few people from GE left in the old Diageo Tower offices. Most of GE is now in Boston if I remember correctly.
Yes, GE and GECC are mostly gone and moved to Boston. The impact on the real estate market in lower Fairfield County has been substantial. GE had campus locations in Fairfield, Norwalk and Stamford. The former/fired CEO used to live in New Canaan and my recollection is that he took a substantial loss on the sale of his house in order to move to Boston.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Fotis made a call to 911 on Wednesday when FOX 61 was outside his Jefferson Crossing home. FOX 61 reporter Carmen Chau and a photographer were seeking an interview Wednesday and no one answered the door. While it appeared no one was home, Dulos called Farmington Police asking for an officer to come to the neighborhood. The officer did approach the FOX 61 crew and requested they not return to the neighborhood after recording video.
