I wondered about the tweeting today too. Seemed very limited. I wondered if there technical difficulties, or miscommunication between reporters, or a new court policy. Guess we'll just see what happens tomorrow.

Hi PrairieWind :seeya: NOPE, not a new court policy but there were LESS reporters present....There were some unusual news situations :waitasec: going on : TWO murder/suicide cases in opposite ends of the state, a few "Biggie" car accidents with appealing victims (read: young) and wicked injuries and FIRES. ALMOST NO ONE thought that Malka was going to be present to testify today (well, almost no one......) :innocent:

The family WAS "prepared" but the public, nope. :rocker:

I'm ticked 'cause I'll be out of the area tomorrow so no court in New Haven for me but I did leave lots of chocolate for my "contacts"! :floorlaugh:

Thanks Joypath!!! So awesome to hear from you LIVE in person. Bummer you can't be there for us every day...but what an awful tragic horrible yucky case. This should be a slam dunk and I hope the defense attorneys will not embarrass themselves and all attorneys by doing smarmy things and being less than kind to the victims. It won't do any good and just gives attorneys a bad name.

Yes, I think it is too horrific for mainstream followers. This reminds me of the Channon Christain case - in that it is just too horrible to digest.

I missed out on the other fella probably from being eye deep in the anthony case. I dont normally support the death penalty and I totter back and forth on my feelings on it but this particular case is a rare one where I am actually rooting for it. these two, they arent even human in my eyes.

I can't look at those photos without feeling sick...I can't imagine how horrible the photos of the girls are. I don't care if JK intended to kill anyone that day or not...he was laughing and fleeing knowing those girls were tied to their beds while a gasoline ignited inferno would burn them and they would suffer a horrible death of being burned alive - that's enough for murder 1.

Good question. Is there a witness list that is public? I can't remember what is in those letters. The journal I remeber as being pretty damaging to JK. Shows him to be very cold and control oriented.

There is no excuse and no reason good enough to spare JK the death penalty. He didn't "mean" to murder that day. Ooops, my bad! He was as much a murderer as was his idiot cohort. How DARE them laugh at the painful deaths of these 3 ladies. There is no remorse, there were no measures at all to spare them, and I, for one, do not believe a word out of JK's mouth. How convenient for him to tell his story but leave out the worst parts. He sodomized young Michaela. I don't care if he says he didn't, the scientific evidence proves otherwise.

He is a monster and he should be treated like the cretin he is. People compare them to animals but please, don't denigrate animals by comparing them to this filth!

Animals don't kill things just for pleasure. Animals hunt for food or kill for protection, not to make someone suffer and for giggles. Please never compare one of these cretinoids to any animal. I'd much rather be in an animal's presence any day of the week!

I remember that fact from the Hayes trial. That fact does NOT fit in to JK's explanation of what happened. (BTW, it was after this testimony in the Hayes trial that Def Atty Donovan made his out of court statement in violation of the gag order that JK did not sodomize Michaela). So we'll see how the defense tries to explain this.

There was also some testimony today that Michaela's shorts had bleach stains on them. I dont recall that from the previous trial. Not sure what to make of that. It could be evidence that JK was attempting to clean up DNA, or it could have been a laundry accident that occurred long before. Probably no way to know. I was unclear about whether Michaela's DNA was found on JK. Was it?
