saw a tweet that said the jury had made no extra effort to dress up today, court folklore is that jurors often dress up on the day they expect to render a verdict, we shall see if court folklore is true today,

Maybe its laundry day for them. lol.

Wow. I didn't expect it to take this long. But at least it shows that they are giving their decision careful thought.

They do have a lot to go through and are clearly being thorough. I thought after the questions yesterday though that they were close. I figured they had maybe saved those questions for the end and once they had the answers it wouldnt be much longer. But when they asked for a chalk board this morning I figured they still had a ways to go. I would guess the judge may have them go late today since they cannot deliberate friday morning.

I've been following this case for a while now; with breaks away from it when it gets too unbearable --- for Dr. Petit there is no 'getting away from it'.....
J. Komisarjevsky may be 'damaged' , but imo he cannot be rehabilitated. It's sad for his daughter ( and it's JK's fault ---he did this to her, not the court system ), but he should certainly never walk free again ; and I support DP in this case.

I'm sure the jury is working hard to get a verdict today. If they don't, I believe they indicated they could only deliberate part of Friday, so that is almost a throw-away day. Then they are looking at the possiblity of deliberating over the weekend or having this hand over them for the weekend and continuing into the next week.

Deliberations conclude for today with no verdict. Jury will pick up tomorrow at 12:15.

I didnt realize until I just saw a tweet a bit ago that the Hayes jury took nearly this long in the penalty phase too.

Jury started deliberations about 12:30 today. Not sure how late the judge will have them go. I would guess he will have them go until 5 unless they indicate they are close. Starting late, but since they are skipping lunch this will give them a good long chunk of uninterrupted time.
