Well, just imagine how pleasantly surprised they would have been at the training session . . . had she made it there . . . after texting to say that she would NOT be there! (I've got a bridge for sale if anyone's interested)
I have beach front property in Hershey PA, any takers?

Apparently the netflix or whatever it was, was opened by family so that didn't pan out. IMO

South Windsor Police and CSP Major crimes are canvassing condominiums on Cinnamon Spring PVT for any evidence that could lead to finding 30-year-old Jessica Edwards. She has been missing since Monday morning. Police are now considering the disappearance suspicious

I won't be elaborating on this but from my sources, it is highly unlikely (having watched Jessica get into a car) that her husband didn't know what colour or kind of car it was, considering how much he knows about cars as a hobby. MOO.

I think it's OK to say (from Find Jessica Edwards FB, which is private) that there is a large, well organized, search effort coordinated by friends and family. They are in various places on foot searches in timed shifts, and are keeping pressure on local LE and local legislators. It's pretty impressive.

I live in downtown Hartford. Hartford is quite insular by neighborhood (Blue Hills, where the searches have been, feels like a universe away) and I haven't seen flyers on the streets, but info is all over Hartford dweller groups and people are sharing info on their own pages.

I don't know Jessica, but I work at Hartford Hospital and precept students and interns (not the department Jessica trains in). She reminds me of any one of my students or young colleagues. So sad : (

Her family and friends are absolutely, 100% devoted to finding her. They share every day through the day. As you can imagine they are keeping the group private as these things can get way out of hand, but they are doing so much in the way of publicising outside of the group.

She is very much loved and this is very much not like her (again, I don't know her but according to those who know and knew).

Well, I think we can surmise what happened here. I just hope they arrest him soon, and hope that they are able to collect enough evidence to convict him.

Search Underway for South Windsor Mom Who Has Been Missing for Days

A South Windsor mother has been missing for days and her family has organized a search for her.

The family of 30-year-old Jessica Edwards, the mother of a 7-month-old baby boy, organized a search Friday in the area of the Riverfront Boat House in Hartford.

South Windsor Police department said Edwards’ husband said he last saw her on Monday morning when she got into a car with friends to go to a training session at Hartford Hospital, but he said he did not see the car or know the friends.

South Windsor police said Friday that a device belonging to Jessica was pinged to a residence in Hartford and investigators are working with Hartford police.

Police on Saturday urged members of the public to come forward with any information that might help them narrow their search for Jessica Edwards, a South Windsor mother who was last seen by her husband Monday morning.
“We’re at a point in time where we need help from the community to move forward with this investigation,” South Windsor Police Sgt. Mark Cleverdon said during a news conference. Asked if foul play may be involved in the woman’s disappearance, he said police “certainly haven’t ruled anything out.”
“We don’t want to discuss any specifics but our investigators are looking into every angle,” he said. Cleverdon also spoke directly to Edwards, asking her to come forward and let police know she is OK.
Cleverdon said neighborhood canvasses and searches near Edwards’ home using police dogs and aerial support have so far turned up no signs of the 30-year-old, married mother of a 7-month-old boy. Cleverdon said police hope to learn from the public about other places where Edwards may have visited.
“As far as physical addresses other than her area, we don’t have much to go on. So we’re looking to see if anyone can put her anywhere else that can help us kind of expand our physical search,” he said, noting that a regional digital investigations unit has also been working to establish a “digital footprint” for Edwards.

Interview with Jessica’s sister

To Note:
•Jessica was in good spirits on Mother’s Day
•The message she sent her professor about not coming in was sent through some sort of internal message board/system the school uses.
•Jessica did carpool with classmates at times.
•Her sister has talked to the professor and all of her classmates; nobody heard from her on Monday
•Her sister said she would never leave her 7 month old son behind.
•She also shared they will continue searching; her husband has been staying at home.

Police Say Disappearance of South Windsor Mom Is Being Considered ‘Suspicious'

JUST UPDATED
Friday night South Windsor police said the Connecticut State Police Major Crimes unit has been called in to help search her condominium, and that her disappearance is being considered suspicious.
I will delete if it's already been stated once I catch up, but LE was apparently at the condo again all last night until early morning... They're asking the public to report anything they may have seen.

Did they need to secure a more specific warrant to come back and comb through the entire condo? It sounds like they know what happened and are trying to build their case since there likely isn't a danger to the public.

ETA: Okay, I'm having trouble finding a link, so maybe someone misheard Fox 61 and they were referring to Friday into Saturday again.

Does anyone know where the husband worked? I tried to find out and haven't gotten an answer yet.

My hinky meter started clicking from the first post in this thread. Great job keeping the info moving here, WSers. I hope for a good outcome, but I agree she wouldn't leave her baby or her career, and if this was a case of self-harm, she wouldn't "seen" getting into an invisible car with invisible driver.

You're not wrong. Unfortunately, I think we will all be proven right as to what we think happened... On the same note, far be it from me to tell anyone how to grieve, but making a singular FB post and no public statements on your missing wife (after you didn't report her missing) is pretty sus. o_O
