Police, with help from state police Major Crimes detectives, served a warrant at her home Friday, searching the condominium and three vehicles, they said Monday.

A South Windsor mother has been missing for a week and the mayor plans to meet with the town manager and police chief today about the investigation.

In addition to her condo, police also searched three vehicles for evidence that might help police in the case.

The family organized a search for Jessica Friday in the area of the Riverfront Boat House in Hartford after. An organizer said she received three tips to search that area.

South Windsor police said Friday that a device belonging to Jessica was pinged to a residence in Hartford and investigators are working with Hartford police.

A South Windsor mother has been missing for a week and the mayor plans to meet with the town manager and police chief today about the investigation.

I'm curious about these tips to search the Riverfront. If it's the search group I am thinking of, it's community-led and people are constantly suggesting different places based on "feelings." That being said, it's not far from her mother's, but it's out of the way of the condo in South Windsor. See attached. It doesn't make sense to me personally to go all the way back out that way, unless it's an area the person was VERY familiar with. Too risky otherwise.

June Street is her mother's (black circle), Riverfront is blue circle, Cinnamon Springs is the condo (red circle). It's almost half an hour from the condo to the boathouse.

Supporters search Hartford park for missing South Windsor mom Jessica Edwards while police focus on clues from her condo, cars

UPDATE
One week after the disappearance of South Windsor mom Jessica Edwards, investigators have sharpened their focus, following up on clues found in her home or cars that might point to where she went, police said Monday.

Friends, family and other supporters, meanwhile, took a much different approach Monday, expanding their search across Hartford, an organizer said.

Sgt. Mark Cleverdon said local investigators, with help from state police Major Crimes detectives, served a warrant at Edwards’ condominium Friday and searched the condo and three vehicles.

He would not disclose details as to what was found but said “It’s enough to enable us to move forward.” One thing police did not find is Edward’s phone, Cleverdon said.

Asked if there are any suspects in her disappearance, he said, “No, not at at this time. We haven’t ruled anyone out.”

Search continues for Jessica Edwards, missing from South Windsor | fox61.com

Family members spent Monday searching in Windsor and South Windsor by Evergreen Walk.

They said nothing was found in the woods, but said it is the least they can do at this point.

The family told FOX61 they have tried multiple times to get ahold of Edwards' husband, but have not had any luck.

"We just want see Jessica. We just want to have her back! That’s it! Somebody knows where she is please let her outside on the sidewalk, we don’t care!" added Hope Edwards.

The family believed someone out there knows something. They desperately asked them to come forward as it is the only way they can get closure.

It seemed to me like they had a girls night for Mother’s Day and likely something happened when she got home, which then prompted the 2:20am email. I swear we always see it when 3~4 hours after a murder is when tech activities pop up again, moo.

He always follows Jessica online but she doesn't seem to follow him back. And he had plans for a joint family youtube account?! Odd...

Interestingly he has shared his phone number online to contact for any info/leads, yet Jessica's own family members cannot get in touch with him.I pray that she is alive and really did leave the house that morning. MOO

In the interview with Jessica’s sister (linked in a previous post), she stated the husband has been at his home while they’ve been searching. His reason has been somebody has to watch the baby.

Surely when police searched the condo, they checked on the baby. Sadly, that’s been several days ago though.

The baby may be part the reason SWPD/CSPMJ is keeping it close to the vest. If they start naming POIs, the baby may be in danger.

If they live in a condo, I'm guessing there is a good chance of video of driveways that would capture (or not capture) the car she supposedly she left in.

Looking at it on Streetview and knowing I just moved from a similar complex, I don't think there are cameras unless it is a resident's personal doorbell cam.

Also looking, and I'm wondering if Wapping Park/Vintons Millpond have been searched yet? Does anyone know?

I have a feeling she left her school/work stuff open on a laptop and someone took an opportunity to skew the timeline. Maybe she left it on a post-it on the laptop or notebook etc, I have all of my passwords in a mini notebook right by my computer.

and yes @mlhenn and @Alkali13, the search of the home giving them "enough to enable us to move forward" is an incredibly damning statement! this will move quickly I feel!
