Thanks. Just saw that OB.The hospital announced that they are not going to have a press conference tonight.

As a physician I believe Damar Hamlin was likely suffering from commotio cordis where a blow to the chest at a precise moment in the electrical cycle stops the heart. Those trying to tie this to vaccine status to project their unscientific beliefs are terrible, horrible people.

I saw comments on Yahoo that this is related to the vaccine--I was stunned- who could come up with such a horrible bizarre thought like that- it is sickening

I was wondering the same thing. If CPR was quickly administered (which it was) what are ramifications?I’m personally very optimistic and hopeful for him and his family.
Praying for all of them as well.
Maybe someone with more medical knowledge can chime in.. Even when CPR is performed according to guidelines, it can only deliver approximately 20 percent of normal blood flow to the brain. Without sufficient blood flow and oxygen, the brain stops working and the cells undergo changes that lead to damage and eventual cell death.
Hope this is okay to post, it came from news station View attachment 391844
Thank you!If it is commotio cordis… How do you feel his outcome will be with quick response of AED and CPR?

His fundraiser has crossed the one million dollar mark.
If it was quality CPR and he was defibrillated quickly...his prognosis is good. The damage comes from the brain not being oxygenated. I am praying that the skilled medical staff on the field knew what they were doing and did it right. They have top of the line doctors at all of the games. Each team has their own medical staff and they are 'top tier cream of the crop' because they make big money and they are in charge of caring for employees worth many many millions of dollars to the team.If it was quality CPR and he was defibrillated quickly...his prognosis is good. Also important is that the University of Cincinnati Hospital is only four miles away from the stadium. They have top of the line doctors at all of the games. I am sure that poor kid got the highest quality of emergency medical care right from the first minute. If anyone has a good chance of making it back, he does. He had great, quick medical treatment with an experienced staff and he is in very good health to start with. JMO
