Do we know they didn't alert any other vehicles?

I don't know but i can tell ya from watching alot of cop shows when the 911 call goes in to disbatch its on the CB and who ever the closest cop car is automaticaly races to the scene thier there everytime way before the 911 for the ambulance . I think its like police 101 when a call goes out and the location comes over the CB you hear it all the time on cop shows where they say ya im about 10 minutes out and en route now and other cars are doing the same...

I'm trying to figure out if I can gleen anything from this and I just can't. Seems like a proper procedure thing. It would of been more useful if you could of seen someone (parents) in the video, to determine behavior.

  • #24
But they could've dispatched other vehicles to look for a missing child, wouldn't they? They could've had other vehicles searching the area or looking out for anything/anyone suspicious?

I realize there has to be a written report first, I guess. IDK

KCMO covers a lot of territory. To go from one end to the other is more than 'a few minutes'.

BBM:banghead: What is it with NON-EXISTANT woods?!!! There are NO woods where the lights are shining. He is looking for a house number on a HOUSE! Unless one tree in a front yard consists of woods, I guess.

And why would there be anybody on the streets at 4am? It appears that they are in their yard when the KCPD car gets to the intersection as you can see a shadow crossing in front of the car, going towards the house and then in a previous post a screen cap that appears to be them on the front porch when it gets to the house.

Now, IDM: who knows this neighborhood better: you, who lives there, or a talking head can't see the tree for the forest??

Ok, what do you think about woods? This is where he is shining the light!

Can somebody find a link to the map that they showed LE took? As far as I can tell, both cars shown took different paths. the one sitting in the parking lot is on N Oak. He then turns north to Parvin Rd and gets to just west of Davidson Rd when it cuts off. the second car is shown traveling south on Chouteau and turning onto Parvin rd going east to NE 38th then N Lister. these would have to be two different cars and their paths. No cable here and it seems like I am very glad now.

The sound has been edited in this video till right at the end. It is the cop car that stops for 2 minutes. The sound comes on right at the end and you hear the cop get out of the car, shut the door and walk around in front of the car then you hear a woman sigh.

Wow, that's a manly sounding woman!:floorlaugh: I *think* this would be from the officer that has not exited the vehicle yet.

Well straight ahead in that picture looks like a wooded area. But if we are talking about the house on the left in that picture, then the 1 tree does not equal wooded area to me. lol

I agree. It's not a woman. It's the officer.

So you think there was two officers in the car and they still waited 2 minutes on a 911 call?

Straight ahead is a house with TWO trees in the front yard. Woods? He is just about 6 doors north of Jeremy's house at this point. He is actually right in front of the house that Jersey was listing has his own house, when he was just squatting there just to the immediate right of the car.

Lets add the view just a few feet to the south.

What officer? The officer gets out of the car and you hear him shut the door and it is timed with him walking in front of the car.

Don't they wear some sort of device for talking into? Scanner thingy? Walkie talkie? LOL I have no idea what they're called. I think he had it on and sighed into it ....that's where it cut off but he may have been advising dispatch that he arrived at the home.

The second officer that has not exited the car yet. You can hear him shuffling papers around as he sighs.
