Joining all of you here in shock and sadness. Legends are supposed to live forever, no? This seems so sudden and random, but I understand that he must have wanted to keep his health battle private for these past 18 months of a cancer fight. Had we known, we could have been offering prayers and good wishes, and been a bit more prepared for this terrible news, yet I respect the choices each person makes in their journey.

Thank you David for the countless gifts you gave us. You WILL live forever in those gifts which are even more precious now.
