Two thuds? No splash sound?

Baden-Clay lunchbreak. Back 2.30. Then hear evidence from a Dr who examined GBC and a forensic pathologist. @abcnews
Sorry I can't remember who posted that really great timeline last thread about sequence of events. I wonder if we should start updating with some of the witness accounts to see if there's a really definite sequence now?
This is where Mr Davis wanted to draw out and confirm the thuds IMO. It could be a useful strategy towards creating a suicide doubt i.e. Allison jumping off the bridge herself. The only sticking point is the sound of a car door closing IMO.
I'm really starting to struggle with this. It just breaks my heart to hear the anatomy of someone's last few hours. It's just heartbreaking. I can't bear it. That poor woman. Her poor children. Her family, friends. I just don't know how they can cope with this. I guess they do because they have to. How can gbc stand around laughing and joking when his wife's demise is being analysed. Playing devils advocate, if he did not do it and is genuinely a grieving husband, would he really be joking around at this hearing? I'd be distraught if it were my husband.
I suppose I've lead a sheltered life and thankfully not encountered people like this. I don't understand it. What a terrible waste of a beautiful and precious life.
I know - someone gave her a lift to the bridge and then drove off after she leapt and then they disappeared
Champers, thank god there are thoroughly nice people left in this world like you. Please don't cry.
For those of us who have lost our innocence, unfortunately this disgusting behaviour and violence and selfishness is all too common. Good people like you and others on here are why the people involved in this sort of thing as an occupation are able to stick with it. They go home from work, shower the filth from their bodies and hopefully their souls, and keep on going to try and stop the next one nod keep us all safe.
You have to believe we as a society are better than that.
Champers, I'm planning on doing a summary of evidence, with times etc. at the end of today's court proceedings.
Agree with comment that is is beautifully said. Thank you. Very comforting. Hawkins was right. It is very hard to hear this.Champers, thank god there are thoroughly nice people left in this world like you. Please don't cry.

Good to be back, and seeing so many still following the case.
Thanks to those giving us live updates, this case makes me nervous when the prosecution admits it's a circumstantial case, and I hate to say it but this Davis guy looks good.
I wouldn't be worried about the police and guards laughing with GBC, it's when you see the Defence laughing and joking with the "press" I get worried.
