Can't argue with that Doc.......the day is getting worse for Mr Davis and Co.

Hi Actus :) Yes, I suspect that Mr Davis and Co are really trying hard to earn their salaries, but are finding the going tougher than expected.

Trying to imply that the police computer forensic expert may not fully understand how the software is written is like asking an expert Photoshop user if they know how the software is written. A sign of pure desperation IMHO.

Some of these witnesses need nerves of steel to be questioned by Davis. Glad I'm not up there on the stand.

Yes thats the way I took it as well UT.

Physio Rhodes says she heard loud angry voices. Couldn't hear what was said. Hopes its not the new neighbours. #BadenClay @abcnews

Same. That's why I was confused, thinking she was near the bridge.

oh my, what a story Gerards phone or phones could tell... I'm betting there are a lot of folks who wish Gerards phone went missing, not Allisons.. . .

2.46pm: Mr Robertson said he knew the phone was operational because it turned on.

Mr Davis asked whether that was the extent of his examination to determine it was working effectively.

''So the Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and the Bachelor of Arts means you turn the phone on and that shows that it's working?'' he said.

Mr Davis asked how Mr Robertson could be sure that any of the log times for calls and other interactions were accurate.

''How can you say that it was accurately logging times?'' he said.

''What tests did you do?''

Mr Robertson said he did a series of tests using Baden-Clay's phone and a test phone by plugging them in and out of a charger and analysing the results to ensure both were recording the same results.

''Is that the extent of your investigations?'' Mr Davis said.

''Yes, with regards to battery charging,'' Mr Robertson replied.

Oh Pleeease! What a smart arse! Ask some intelligent questions Mr. Davis and leave the sarcasm out of it.

We're hearing some complex explanations of logging records showing when Baden-Clay plugged and unplugged phone into charger on April 19

I spoke to a neighbour of GBC's this morning who lives behind their rental property in Boscombe Road (a few houses back) and they didn't hear anything that night. All the noise must have been coming from the front of the house.

Yes.. its a bit silly really. Whether he does or does not know how its written doesn't really have any bearing on whether he knows what he is doing in regards to extracting data or any other task he performed in regards to that. After all I do not think The Queensland Police would employ someone to perform such a duty, who had no knowledge of how to do it!

I agree.. trying to put in the element of doubt

Here we go - at last:

Ashley McDermid @AshleyMcDermid
Court hears previous allegation of Gerard Baden-Clay making a FaceTime call the night Allison disappeared was a mistake. @9NewsBrisbane

Finally, that bone of contention put to bed!

There was no FaceTime call from Baden-Clay after midnight when accused was said to be sleeping. "An iPhone 3Gs is not capable" #BadenClay

There was a "false positive" initally reported by police software. But found it wrong. #BadenClay @abcnews

They just had on Ch 9 news that the lady who approached GBC today was a friend of Allison's. I missed if they mentioned her name.

How did this mistake happen and why was it leaked and stated as fact.
Not good.

In many ways Mr Davis is making these witnesses look rather silly, unsure and unprofessional. AIMOO

Quoting myself :)

It seems strange language to use by this friend - don't love you, hate you. Seems more of an intimate statement to make. BUT I am definitely NOT suggesting there was anything intimate there at all. Far from it. Just something I wouldn't say to a friend's husband.
