Thanks

But even whatever was GBC and Allison's equity in the house and their shareholdings still didn't make them solvent as the forensic accountant included that in her report. So they would have lost that equity too in a bankruptcy.

I agree - my point was when GBC was thinking about divorce, these things were possibly the only ones that he could see that were worth anything. Add to that from one of the readings from court docs (sorry forget which one) that Allison had said that she would take him down in the case of a divorce (paraphrasing there as I can't remember the exact words) and I think he realised just how screwed he was...

I wonder if Gerard ever considered the possibility that Nige might knock HIM off for his insurance?

Nige was just as broke as Gerard.. Gerard owed him money. Nige had lent hiim money, it never got paid back, but also, Nige had taken over the loan that Adam the younger brother and his wife , Nicole had made to Gerard.. $ 10.000.00... Gerard never paid Adam back, Nigel coughed up and added that sum to Gerards debt to Nige.

oh these people. NORMAL>>> ??????

GBC was worth more than Allison dead. Wonder if NBC was ever tempted? :what:

Correct Amee. I think this is really damning evidence that within hours of TM telling GBC to tell Allison not to go to the conference as she would be there, Allison is dead. This is likely the catalyst for Allison's death that night or a unbelievable coincidence! But GBC told both the police and TM that there was no trigger for her disappearance. Everything was fine and that she was not likely to harm herself!

Thanks Ali. Im blown away yet again....
I read it a couple of times thinking, no, no that cant be right and confused myself ( not hard to do lol)

Maybe she got escorted in and out of the court just to make sure she got there?

or maybe threats were made against her? MOO.

Interesting to see that NBC and EBC didn't try to contact Allison after hearing she has disappeared. I would be frantically messaging and calling!!

Also, I wonder who has the phone no ending in 243? They seemed to call them a lot.

No worries. Thanks I have figured it out :)

Or for her own safety!

The media would have eaten her up and spat out the bones - and maybe a friend of Allison's might have yelled at her

I hear you Ali. Haven't caught up yet but I am feeling nothing but sadness.
I understand the anger for TM and in my opinion women should not sleep with married men.
We have all done crazy things when in love though. Naïve people believe what they are told.

So much sadness for so many people : (

Yeah it's hard to believe a 41 year old could be so naive, but apparently TM was.

As an aside, in the ads at the top is a cat with the caption: "Every morning my human shaves fur off his face, hard to believe but he does!" :floorlaugh:

I'm with those of you feeling sadness :(

So many lives ruined, so many people hurting. There are NO winners in this...

And she is very vocal

That was Olivia Walton's phone number and is noted on Allison's phone record.

or a fake death, like Jeffrey Archer type of thing.. nothing would suprise me in that mob... a fake death like that bloke in England who got in his canoe and was 'lost at sea'... except he wasnt, he snuck back and his wife hid him in the basement for years, the insurance was paid out.. he snuck off to Panama, the wife met him there, oh they bought properties, too.. mad for property...

then one day, he rocks up at the police station , says he has had memory loss ....

Fake death.. lets think about it. Gerard himself falls down a hole.. leaving behind a grieving widow, 3 kids.. a devastated father and mother, all the usual stuff... business partners... maybe he does a Tony Mokbel, and takes the Gateway to Greece , yacht from Broome to Athens, sits in a cafe with an absurd wig on... oh yea yea.. and then he...

Stop it, trooper

I was just pondering a 'what if' - what if GBC goes to trial and is found guilty. I wonder how he will react? I'd assume he would appeal, but if the final outcome after a possible appeal was a life sentence, how will he react to this?

Sorry for O/T but does anyone else get an error(a little yellow triangle) when thanking a post? It only lets me thank selectively today??

That was one of TM's statements, G told her Allison had said "It wouldn't be pretty" ?

He'd be a "little bit hurt"

HeadruledHeart, it was mentioned here today that TMH's brother is a lawyer. Is this her brother or her adult son? Can you confirm for us?

  • #319
Is Olivia around today??
