Yes, I have seen a few on the FB page...Black & Missing, Inc....I think it is.

  • #682
I am sure it must stand for something, but what I believe the detectives are doing is preventing anyone from knowing the sex of the person they are discussing at any given moment in the warrant.

Page 4 of the Prince George's County Warrant:

- The social worker had reported that IT had received information...

I think you're right. And as Hambirg stated, it could very well be for he/she, his/hers. If you replace all the IT's with those words it would make sense.

I read and re-read every single warrant to see if it was a mistake, could it mean IT (as in your profession - I thought the same thing lol), secret police code (kidding). I was frantically looking at numerous FB pages for friends of known players and couldn't find anything. Now, I must go back and write the names down I have checked - so I won't keep looking at the same ones over and over.

Interesting that witnesses are listed as numbers (I get why) and these initials are stated. This may blow the Lyles theory out of the water for the gun research?

Who is IT?

Hi- just based on the information/clues they are stating to have involved IT- I am 199% sure that they are referring to RSL. His rap sheet is disgusting...based on his history he def has the capabilities of being involved in something like this

  • #684
Then he would not have been referred to as 'IT' unless that was his street name.

  • #685
O/T I keep seeing the letters smh Can someone enlighten me as to what these letters represent? T.I.A.

ITA, PrivateEye006. It was disheartening to find the case from '95 where he was only charged/found guilty of Child Abuse after all the other charges were Nolle Pros'd. A predator is a predator forever. I read a post on FB (considered rumor, of course) that described this crime. Horrific and disgusting. IMO, he is seriously involved in this.

Prince George's County Warrant page 5:

Witness One:

- Reported Decedent checked into the Red Roof Inn on March 19, 2014, at about 10:04 pm.
- Seen on video near the room
- Left in less than an hour with 2 individuals in a vehicle driven by female individual
- Returned at 5:40am and talked to KT
- Observed AT on bed
- Stated KT did not allow admittance into room

Witness Two:

- Revealed AT was having domestic issues with KT
- Stated AT was contemplating leaving KT
- Admitted to conducting internet search for KT for gun during past month
- Utilized Apple I-Pad and downloaded images of guns for KT

I find it quite interesting Witness Two said AT was "contemplating leaving KT" and we know now divorce papers were filed in February. Something is wrong with that statement.

Sounds like silent witness bargains being discussed.
Whatever works.

Alright, Sleuthers.........who is IT?

The search warrants state that IT:

- returned to the Red Roof Inn and talked to KT
- observed AT lying on the bed when KT opened the door
- KT refused to allow IT to enter the room
- within the last month IT conducted internet searches for KT in an attempt to purchase a handgun
- IT utilized an Apple Ipad and downloaded images of handguns for KT

Who is IT?

IT, it's driving me mad. The first time this IT turns up is in the history where the social worker reports Relisha's truancy. What or who is this? Investigator T, Informant T, ????

Nobody wants to go down associated with the disappearance of an 8 year old child.
No matter what the circumstances.

IT is not a person's initials at all! IT means they are using a substitute to indicate a personal pronoun without attaching a gender so people cannot figure out which individual/witness is acting as the detective writes out the report. Instead of saying, "Witness One did this and SHE/HE did that.". The detective writes, "Witness One did this and IT did that.". See? He/She/It = 3rd person personal pronouns

If they were using "it" in that sense, there would be no reason whatsoever to make it all caps.

Actually, it would make sense to me because they need to insure they didn't mess up. So many times I have questioned why LE in reports didn't pay attention to that very detail because it gives away the witness when there are only two of opposite genders. IT is used for various people throughout the report and not assigned to one specific person. Now...it doesn't mean that IT doesn't have some wording assigned other than "it", but it is being used in the same context as he/she/it if you will read through the report.

Yes, the meaning makes sense, and I agree it doesn't seem to refer to a specific person, but I still don't see why they'd capitalize it. Given LE's tendency to jargon and acronyms, I'd expect some sort of term like "unsub" or the like. It's really rare to use "it" to refer to a person in US English.

I never see the word "unsub" used by LE in real life...only hear it used on Criminal Minds. ;)

Maybe it (IT) is being taught to Detectives now as "Effective Report Writing 101: Protecting Your Witnesses".

I think it might be an actual program that goes through and edits automatically. I would bet the warrant the judge sees still says he or she...but the ones they release...they hit gender neutral and the program does the rest.

Resembles Willis on Different Strokes...

Hopefully someone will recognize this man and this will be the break that leads to Relisha!!!

I wonder if this person is directly related to Relisha's disappearance, or just might have witnessed something...

This is my first post. I just wanted to say that my first thought was that he looks like "Willis".
This is my first post because I can't even keep up with the work being done and I just read till I fall asleep. Nth is little girl is haunting my thoughts. I have no psychic abilities but my gut says she was sold. Praying she is found so she can be saved and recovered.

Wonder why Tatum's boss thought it was a good idea to look in Tatum's locker instead of calling police to do that? Personally I wouldn't have opened it at all! I'd have gotten the police there ASAP and showed them the locker. IF there had been any evidence in that locker, it could have been compromised by her opening it. Well, as typical, JMO!

From reading each of search warrants, LE was just one step behind Tatum. On the 21st, early in the AM he used his bank card. By the 22nd, police had a search warrant to access that account via google. They had already accessed his bank account at that point. Sounds like they were doing a wonderful job behind the scenes and I'm proud of them! They're giving Relisha 100% and investigating various scenerios at the same time. Doesn't seem they are zoomed in one theory, but doing wonderful investigative work to weed out theories, and get the facts. "IF" there is a way to solve this case, blow a lid on child trafficking, or find Relisha, I believe they'll do it!

Now if they could only get some facts from those that know Relisha, and know about her life, and at least what was going on in the prior month leading up to the last time she was seen by any of them....well it would help. But, even without their help or their conflicting reports, the investigators are gathering information, and those responsible will be going down! You can't hide stuff from all the depts involved in this case. Nah, this isn't a small backwoods LE. Nope. FBI, as well as state and local...not gonna pull the wool over on them. They've seen it, heard it, and won't believe it without proof!!
