Bombshell I remembered something about NH & New England states so did a search. You & I both commented about it years ago! So whatever info they had so long ago may be panning out now with missing girl from NH not reported in Namus? While I hope this can be solved, it's so frustrating that not all info was provided at the time, or even later, as an update in the case.Hi everyone! I am from the local area and very familiar with this case.
The laundry bag originated from American Laundry and Dry Cleaning Co. located at 328 Perry St in Trenton, NJ. The address was printed on the bag.
Early in the investigation, police received a tip that she was from the New England area and traveled to Delaware to have the abortion. This information was reprinted in most of the articles I could find on the case.
In the late 90s, a local newspaper ran an article on unsolved homicides and this Jane Doe received a brief mention. No new information, except that there were suspects and all are now deceased.
A new recon was created by The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. I am *attempting* to attach the image (lol), but here is a link just in case:
Have you seen this child? JANE DOE1967

See post #472.
(The Hal Brown mentioned in Bombshell's post is the Deputy Director of the Forensic Sciences Laboratory at Delaware’s state medical examiner’s office.)
ETA: Where Hal Brown got Janice Taylor from, I do not know, but since he is an official, we just have to trust he got it from a credible source!
Can you give us her age maybe? Her name is Janice Taylor from Warner, NH. I have a picture of her but not sure if I’m allowed to post it here? She is not in Namus.
I can't get over how much this Doe looks like my best friend... obviously, there is no connection, since my friend wasn't even born yet. But still, I look at her face, and seeing the resemblance just kills me.
She was somebody's best friend.
I will pray for her.
Buried in the thread, it was mentioned that they only had a DNA sample from the UID because some of her heart muscle had been retained after the autopsy.Wish this case could get some attention!!
What about the fetus/DNA?
Could be run for a possible match to the father??

Yes I submitted Glenda Tedball to the Namus contact for this JD.
Tedball was killed by her mother in a botched abortion attempt. The mother for many years, said her daughter was missing, so the actual "last seen" date on Tedball's Doe Network page may very well be incorrect. The poor girl's body was never found. (See post#8 on this thread for the story.)

Well, that's a bit of a mystery, actually. She knows she's caucasian and German, but she's olive-toned like this Doe and is pretty sure she might be Jewish. Someone with a PhD in Jewish genealogy once told her "oh yeah, you definitely have Jewish roots somewhere, no question about it." I've guessed Romany as a possibility for her as well.
Her mother, who she resembles, can trace her ancestry back to the American Revolution. I don't know how helpful that fact is, but I guess it could be possible that she is long lost family of the decedent
Emailed Hal Brown, DE Chief Medical Examiner....comes back non existent address so yes, I do believe he is retired. Looking up who has replaced him....Will keep you informed.
