You are right jjenny. I think Lewes has a population of something like 3,000. One would think that something like this would have leaked out somewhere. It's really surprising that it didn't. I sure hope to high heaven that there wasn't some sort of warning to an "upper echelon" (the teachers, doctors, and state police families) while the other portion of Dr. Bradley's practice, described as low-income and single parent families, were allowed to walk their kids back through those doors while LE took notes. That takes my breath away to even think about it.
My comment about the other pediatrician simply reflects my shock that another doctor would have had ANY knowledge of this monster. It doesn't sound to me (I could be wrong, though) as if the doctor went to police with a report. It sounds like, upon being interviewed, he recalled that he had referred to Bradley as a pedophile.
To use another example; it's one thing to alert authorities that you see a person board a plane with an explosive and believe he might be a terrorist. It's quite another, after there has been an explosion, to say that you referred to the other passenger as a terrorist, inferring that you had some solid evidence that you knew the person was a threat. The first person is being pro-active. The second person is guilty by lack of appropriate reporting of a perceived threat.
I'd like to read more of just what this doctor saw and knew before I let him off the hook.
